Ok, here is the situation. My sister in law came here to the U.S. with her two children after marrying this guy. This guy basically wanted a slave, and not a wife so she left him. She and the kids are here on conditional visas. She now wants to be independent, and go work in California (We're in FL). She wants to leave the children with us (2 girls, 3yrold, and 11 yr old). We are fine with this, but I know we'll need some kind of legal guardianship of the children. Since the children are here on immigrant visa do we an immigration lawyer or could another lkind of aywer do this for us?

My mom won't buy any water and the only water that she wants to use is tap water, and it hasn't rained for days, so I can't collect any water.
What should I do?
My mom is really mad at me because of this, so she's not gonna buy anything.
Really, WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!?!?!

My friend and I have recently begun an email correspondence. Every weekend we send each other a question in our area of expertise. While I do posses a very logical mind, I am by no means a great mathematician, he is. This week his question to me was: "Why is an equation that contains a number divided by zero undefined?"

The answer I came up with is: "An equation containing a number divided by zero is undefined for it compromises the validity of known mathematical laws."

In explanation: "If we take the fraction 4/2. We know for a fact that this is equal to 2. We should therefore be able to reverse the process and come to the logical conclusion that 2x2 is equal to 4. In contrast take the fraction 5/0, the two most logical guesses at the solution to this fraction would be 5 and 0. When trying to reverse the process we come to 5x0 and 0x0 respectively. Neither of which equal the original fraction 5/0. This constitutes an inconsistency in mathematical law."

as an Englishman who has just arrived in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
Everybody is aware that the USA hasnt got much of a culture, but i was thinking that perhaps those more fortunate like ourselves could lend some of ours to the USA for them to warp/fashion into their own.
At the moment the only famous American icon i can think of is Ronald McDonald and even he is Scottish.

My 4 month old baby girl sleeps much better when we prop her up on one of those maternity 'v-shape' pillows but when we lye her down flat she wriggles around a lot more which wakes her up.....

We only let her sleep with the pillow whilst sat next to her on the sofa or lying on the bed so she's always safe but I was wondering what age is it suggested to be safe to let a baby have a pillow ?

Luke 12:48 says, "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."

My husband never prays for anything for himself and I think it's because of this scripture. What do I say to him about that? I don't want him to be afraid to ask things of God.
