If you're looking for anything larger than 3'x5', you're probably looking at 5 figures for the genuine item.
You do know most of them are made by children who are are forced to sit and work on them 10 hours a day, don't you?

Persians, asian, orientals are available at quality rug dealers and upper end department stores. It's best to purchase from a rug dealer who knows the art and can direct you to the appropriate purchase. Quality rugs are not inexpensive but they are an investment and with good care remain beautiful forever. Hard to get? Goodness, there are at last 12 oriental rug dealers within a 15 mile driving radius of where I live.
