She is so frustrated in bumping in to things...she continues to sit in one place...thus not getting any excerise...I usually tell her to be careful when she goes out and with that command she knows to slow down...and turns her head....but I have to be with her all the time and talk to her...otherwise she is still healthy and is eatting and deficating...I don't want to loose her but if she is in pain or sick...I would have to do that...

And you're already married, love your job, and do not want to leave it to end the affair with your co-worker? Youve tried finding another job and tried repeatedly to end the affair, both unsuccessfully. Probably because you love both. And your co-worker loves you back, the people you work for are extremely happy with you and your work. You have built a respected relationship with your company for many years, and built a loving relationship with your co-worker for a few years.

You realize that both you and your co-worker are more and more frustrated because of the secret feelings that you have for ea other. You also realize that you cannot go on like this; it is not fair to your spouse (whom you have more of a friendship with) and it is starting to affect your work performance.

You have to work daily with this co-worker; you dont have a choice in your position. Because you must support your family, you cannot leave this good paying job without another lined up. What would you do?

Does someone know of any good childrens songs that are a little more mellow. They do not have to be childrens songs as long as there is no bad language and they are appropriate for children. But they must be mellow. Thanks

so many national guard troops , and the length of deployments and the fact that we had a known army as the enemy in iraq. we were told that wmd were there, and they were not, then it was to get sadaam out , and then al qaida. are the so called police actions more profitable and convenient? i hear from the right "we are at war" , however , our congress (the people) declare war . it is a war of choice , we went in when we want it , how we want it , and where we want it . i would like to know what percent of the foot soldiers ( the ones at danger) belong to what social class? any ivy league , politician's children , wealthy family? well, how many small companies have overprofited from this war? our sons daughters go in for an ideal , that sadly is for misguided intentions of power and wealth of a few . is george bush "ceasar"? he would send the legions to conquer when things did not look so good for him in the senate and rome . well, we should say "hail to ceasar , mr president" !

I have to analyze the impact of television on kids and adolescence, and i need other people's opinion on it. Are the shows that kids/teens watch on t.v. a great impact and influence on their socialization? Does t.v. really take a big role in molding teens/kids personality and world skills?

The approach to authority is very different in the ancient Church than in the modernist Protestant church. The Catholic Church follows the “Word of God alone” while the Protestant ecclesiastical groups follow Sola Scriptura which states that only God’s written word is authoritative. The latter is a sixteenth century man made doctrine designed to destroy the unity of the Church and fragments the entire body of Christ by exponentially increasing schisms caused by accepting only part of God’s word by the Protestants. Sola Scriptura is not a doctrine for a better understanding of the Logos but instead is designed to circumvent the legitimate authority of the Church given by Christ.
It is the belief of the ancient Church that is the Magisterium of the Church that has the authority given by Christ to expound on, recognize and guard the Word of God. The Word of God is not only the written Scriptures but all that is handed to the Church by the Holy Spirit. In so doing and carrying out her responsibility the Church is the true servant of the Word.
God’s people have never been Sola Scriptura advocates. In Jesus’ day the orthodox Jews were not, nor were Jesus or the apostles. The continuation Sola Verbum Dei is a theological continuation of God’s Word from the Old Covenant to the New. The only ones who believed in anything resembling Sola Scriptura were the Sadducees who were the theological liberals of their day. We know that the first century Christians did not believe in Sola Scriptura by the teaching of St. Paul in Holy writ:
(2Th 2:15 DRB) (2:14) Therefore, brethren, stand fast: and hold the traditions, which you have learned, whether by word or by our epistle.

The Church teaches that the Word of God is the Logos:

(Joh 1:1 DRB) In the beginning was the Word: and the Word was with God: and the Word was God.

(Joh 1:2 DRB) The same was in the beginning with God.

(Joh 1:3 DRB) All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made.

(Joh 1:4 DRB) In him was life: and the life was the light of men.

So the question among Christians should not be what is the Word but instead how is the Word revealed to man. To the Protestant the Word is only revealed in written form called Sola Scriptura. To the Catholic Christian the word has a much broader meaning and is revealed to man in more than a written form where men were inspired to reveal God’s Word. Catholics believe that inspiration is not only personal as with the biblical writers but is also revealed to and through the Church such as in the Ecumenical Councils and through the authority exercised through the Church to recognize, guard, interpret and teach the Word. The Church throughout history has faithfully exercised her authority to guard the word of God against the attacks of heresies, such as Sola Scriptura.

In Christ

How do you feel when you see other christians calling atheists or non-christians
"morons," "satan-worshippers," and "miserable people"
who are going to hell because they rejected god?

(and these are the nice insults that I've read in the past hour! I'm sure you see the rest if you read most of the questions...)

How about the ones who flat out say they hate jews, muslims, atheists, or homosexuals?

I just recently graduated High School and not off to college just yet. We used to be close but now it seems that my dad is ignoring me. I cant get my drivers license because I cant get my 60 hours behind the wheel. The reason for it is because he makes up excuses to not go with me. And he blames me. I have been rejected many times when looking for a job but I can always count on him to nag me and call me a loser. I come to him for advice now and then but "conveniently" he has to leave at that moment to do something for my sister. He spends more time with my sister in a day then he does with me in two weeks. I know I should grow up but I feel bad when my dad only talks to me when he wants chores done and to nag me. The guy does almost nothing for me nowadays, no presents on christmas or birthdays, no lifts to anywhere (even if im willing to drive). He hasn't hugged more or said that he cares about me in almost a year. Have I really lost my dad?

The barge she sat in, like a burnish'd throne,
Burn'd on the water: the poop was beaten gold;
Purple the sails, and so perfumed that
The winds were love-sick with them; the oars were silver,
Which to the tune of flutes kept stroke, and made
The water which they beat to follow faster,
As amorous of their strokes. For her own person,
It beggar'd all description: she did lie
In her pavilion--cloth-of-gold of tissue--
O'er-picturing that Venus where we see
The fancy outwork nature: on each side her
Stood pretty dimpled boys, like smiling Cupids,
With divers-colour'd fans, whose wind did seem
To glow the delicate cheeks which they did cool,
And what they undid did.
Her gentlewomen, like the Nereides,
So many mermaids, tended her i' the eyes,
And made their bends adornings: at the helm
A seeming mermaid steers: the silken tackle
Swell with the touches of those flower-soft hands,
That yarely frame the office.
