There is this this one girl at my school who intimadates the crap outta me. Seriously she really DOES. How can i stand up to her and let her know i waont take that, if i am scared to do so?? P.S plez dont tell me to just surround myself with friendz, becuz she picks on me when I am around them 2. What CAN I DO?? this girl has been picking on me ever since LAST year. Im not a person that usully lets people pick on me, im NOT. So why do i let her do it?? Shes REALLY little, i could probably take her, but why do iget so fearfull around this little girl??

I just installed the windows vista anytime upgrade on my laptop and now it s conciderably slower. I already had vista on my computer but I guess I just upgraded to a newer version. Is there a reason why my computer is so slow, and can I fix it?

I have a few CD's that pay me a small amount of interest each year. I report this on my income tax as interest income.

I am told if I invest my money in a Municipal Bond Fund I will not be taxed the same rate as interest income because this will be capital gains.

What percent will I have to pay on capital gains on my income tax?

Do you think Joba is really as good as we make him out to be or is it because he is so fresh from his few innings and hitters lack of experience vs the hard throwing right handed current set-up pitcher. There's a guy that I like. He's really shy. We talked at a recent football game and he really opened up to me and was very nice to me. Two different people even asked us if we were a couple. He said something like, "It's kind of akward to talk about that right now" and he had a blushy look on his face. He even hugged me three times, and he's not the hugging type. He also asked me if I was going to be at every home game and I said yes. He said "good" and stuff like that (he's in the marching band so he's at every varsity game.) It really seemed like that he liked me, but the next day of school, he treated me like if that night at the football game never happened. He just ignored me like he normally does. I'm wondering if he still likes me but his shyness is getting the best of him. My mom says that's he's really shy and not to take it personally, but I'm not so sure. Please help! Thanks.

Hi I am a Non-Muslim and I have no inclination to ever become a Muslim. I am happy with my religion and I am proud of it.

The reason I am asking you this question is that I just saw a documentary called "Muslim in the family" in which 4 Non Muslims converetd to Islam for various reasons and they all seem to be more religius than many Muslims that I know. I was just wondering if there are any more people like them? What is their motivation of giving up their own heritage? So on and so forth.

So what do you think -
Would you ever consider of becoming a Muslim?

If yes then how far would you go to be known as a Muslim, like would you start wearing traditional Muslim dress, think of emigrating to a Muslim country, give up music etc.?

If no, then why would you not choose to convert to Islam?

Please accept my thanks in advance and I hope I haven't offended any one. I am just trying to look at it from a Non-Muslim's point of view.

My cd drive broke or blew up a few weeks ago for reasons unknown. Here's what Windows keeps telling me:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

Ok, so I did the trouble shoot, tryed uninstalling and reinstalling (wasn't too sure if I had to restart my computer afterwards) the drivers, with no luck still. Now I feel I must buy a replacement. So I guess my question is, what's the best place to go to get a replacement and have it installed as well?? For a decent price at least...

I've been reading websites about global warming (fun...), which all talk either in terms of parts per million (ppm, currently approximately 380 ppm globally) or emissions in metric tons.

What I don't understand is, how many metric tons of carbon dioxide equal one of those ppm floating around in the atmosphere? As a bonus question, how much emissions in metric tons do people say is sustainable at X number of ppm in the atmosphere? I've read that in the past (prior to the industrial revolution) it was about 300 ppm...

Hopefully that makes sense.
