There's a guy that I like. He's really shy. We talked at a recent football game and he really opened up to me and was very nice to me. Two different people even asked us if we were a couple. He said something like, "It's kind of akward to talk about that right now" and he had a blushy look on his face. He even hugged me three times, and he's not the hugging type. He also asked me if I was going to be at every home game and I said yes. He said "good" and stuff like that (he's in the marching band so he's at every varsity game.) It really seemed like that he liked me, but the next day of school, he treated me like if that night at the football game never happened. He just ignored me like he normally does. I'm wondering if he still likes me but his shyness is getting the best of him. My mom says that's he's really shy and not to take it personally, but I'm not so sure. Please help! Thanks.

He's probably just really shy and maybe embarrased by that night. If I were you I'd go start a conversation with him. something like "it was nice seeing you at the game" Help him out a little. Sounds like he likes you :-)

Sounds like he doesn't want the spotlight of the whole school focused on what he does. At the game everyone is focused on the game and not really botherd about u 2. Approach him when there is minimal people and see what kind of response you get out of him. Give him your number, that way he can call you from the privacy of his home or wherever. Dont give up, you know how guys can be.

Remember mom’s agenda is to always make sure you feel good about yourself. But there comes a time in everyone’s life when we must do it our self. All you have to do is ask for it and little by little step by step you will have all the answers (perhaps too many) So don’t listen to hate, negativity, or anything bad Just no your number 1 to you and stay true to that fact and everything will fall into place – including finding a real man. But I guess you could try saying something to him like “I like it when a guy can sit next to me and say whatever’s on his mind” but that might be impossible so just stick to yourself be yourself and grow into yourself… Good luck and God bless…

He likes you of course, but his shyness might take control of that. He might be avoiding you either because he is nervous about what other people think or maybe its his friends controlling him. If he keeps on ignoring you dump him. He is not worth waiting years for if he is just gonna ignore you. OR if he talks to you slowly or acts nervous, it could mean he really really likes you . So much that he cant talk to you without making a fool of himself .LOL. Hope this helps!

Well you could just ask him. Shyness can be overcome when you get to know a person better. He probably likes you, it sounds as though he does. So once you get to know him a little better just come out and ask him why he's so different at school.

believe it or not, alot of guys do this.
They'll act like the biggest sweetheart on a "date" with a girl...
And then the next day, in public, act like nothing ever happened.
Like your mom said, don't take it too personally. If it continues when you guys are an item(if it happens) then you can talk to him about it and tell him how it makes you confused.

Guys are strange around their friends. During school he has an image. It sounds like he is interested...but..do you want someone who acts differently in front of people?
