im 13 years old and want to lose 10-15 pounds before october or november.

basically, my gf had sent her crazy ex bf(who just happens to be a gangster/drug dealer) to jail......we just found out he's gonna get out in a couple of days. she has a restraining order on him, but honestly what's the point? as soon as he gets out he's just gonna try and kill her. i've honestly run out of ideas and this is real serious. of course the cops won't listen because he hasn't done anything yet, and it's so sad because they are pretty much doing nothing about it. so please, if anyone has any SERIOUS suggestions then i would love to hear what you think. i was thinking about hiring like a bodyguard but i really dont have any money......so like i said, this is real serious and i need help asap - we're both really freaked out and don't know what to do. He's huge, crazy and has easy access to guns.

Hi. I have a 3 year old son. I signed him up for swim lessons last week. We went 2 times and both times he cried (hysterically) the entire time. He loves the pool and is a good swimmer for his age - so it's not because a fear of the water. He's on the shy side and it may be because he's not comfortable with the instructor (who is very nice and very patient with him).
He has a class scheduled for this afternoon and has been crying about it all day. Do you force him to go or just forget it? I feel torn - because when he's there - he's so upset he's not learning anything and if I just don't bring him anymore I feel like he sort of "won" this battle and don't want him to think he could "cry" his way out of things he doesn't want to do.
I should also add that my son is pretty much a good kid - he doesn't have tantrums, is not a whiner and is pretty much well behaved, and has never cried his way out of anything before.

If you say he is flesh and bone, think about the limits this type of vessel has. If he is modeled after regular human beings, as you claim, then he must eat, drink, excrete wastes, and sleep. If his brain contains as many neurons as a normal human brain, then he could not possibly begin to master time and space.

Do you think he shape-shifts or something?

I am based in the uk and am a uk citizen. I incurred a debt in usa [timeshare] - will the debt collection agency take me to court here? Will they send bailiffs? Will a uk court order me to pay? This girl I have been talking to called me up and invited me to this party. We've known each other for about 6 months now. We have tried to make plans to hang out in the past, but they have fallen through. We have only really hung out at the same place two or three times before, but usually she is working; however we still talk once and a while, and we message each other on the internet a lot. She asked me to go to this thing, but the day of, I kind of flaked out on her. It was off and on for a while, than it just didn't happen. I have sent her a message via myspace, but she has not responded. I can see that she has not read the message. I am getting kind of anxious, and feel like I acted pretty sketchy last weekend. Is this a major offense? Did I do something unforgivable. She has done similar things to me, but usually she writes me back. This is really depressing me, and I feel very anxious! Please help!

I see sooooooooo many questions asked on here each day about circumcision and at risk of sounding controversial, i can't figure out why this is still such a big issue in the US. Most of the rest of the world has realized it isn't medically necessary to do it routinely at birth. I do realize that in a limited number of cases it may be necessary later in life but so are many surgeries such as tonsillectomies but we don't whip those out as a matter of course in the first week of life! i dunno...seems a bit barbaric to start lopping off body parts purely for social reasons.

Immature responses are not welcome but i am interested in the comments of thinking people. Who knows, this could get interesting :)
