She only stated that he was raised in the deep south where dog fighting is more common. I didn't hear her say he should be pardoned because he was a product of his environment. If you were raised in a country that believed in cannibalism, and moved to America and continued to practice you would be charged according to our laws. Living in the deep south, they know it's illegal but do it anyway. Vick would have learned that in his upbringing sooner or later. It's not an excuse, nor a reason to get out of trouble. What do you think?

I am trying to get in touch with my husband's former employer (surprise surprise they're not answering my messages) to find out how long our coverage will last. But in the meantime I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been. Did your coverage end the day you left? Or did it last for a bit longer?

I think when wives are extra submissive and caring, a good idea would be to give them a reward. One such reward would be a 'get out of punishment' card which could be used when they accidentally mess up. For example, they might slip up and say a foul word or burn dinner. In cases where they do something bad but it is obviously unintentional they should be able to get out of a punishment by their husband if they have these cards. Its a way a man can show his wife that he is understanding that women can slip up now and then and fail to be the perfect wife. If they do something wrong unintentional and don't have a card, I think they should be given a chance to earn one. There is no need for a harsh punishment when the action was clearly unintentional.

If so, maybe it too should be defended or excused like dog fighting.

The fact is, if a white woman on the view even attempted to say that slavery was a southern thing or a cultural thing, she'd be off the show immediately. Whoopie's comments were sick and twisted.

Last weekend, I attended “Spearhead”, a regional gathering of 1/16 scale RC tank enthusiasts. While there, we showed off our latest creations, talked about the newest RC “goodies”, and staged an engagement between “Blue Force” and “OPFOR” which was open to the public.

Since my grandfather serves as a tank mechanic in the Pacific during World War II, it should come as no surprise that I joined the WWII wing of the club and have constructed several of the USMC vehicles which my Grandfather once repaired, including an M4 Sherman, DUKW, LVT(A)4, and am currently attempting to build an M4A3R3 “Zippo”.

However, since we engage in mock “combat” (in which we shoot infrared laser beams from the various “weapons” on out vehicles and disable those vehicles we hit) we need to also construct some models to serve in OPFOR.
