I just heard about Birthright Isreal, and I was just wondering if anyone had heard of any Catholic organizations that offer free trips like the one's birthright does.

If you don't mind "working vacations", there are a number of Catholic/Christian ministries that do missions overseas. They are not exactly free-of-charge but expenses associated with the trip are greatly reduced.

As far as naming which ministries/missions do these things, I am not familiar with any by name - but I am sure you could find plenty through people "in the know" and/or hard-target Internet search.

I haven't heard of any free trips, but the Vatican did just start up an airline that takes people to the holy sites.
