Possible, but highly unlikely. Without listing the reasons in order of importance. 1. Those that own the business wants to become a millionaire in six months. 2. Those that work for the owner of the business want as high a wage that they can get. (everybody thinks they are worth more than they are paid).
3. Those that buy the product that the business produces wants to pay as little as possible for it. Possible, yes, probable, no, unless we ALL change our way of thinking!

Sure, just tax the incoming goods supplied from other countries with a tariff that will make them more expensive than the same goods produced here. Then we'll buy our products and not theirs.
the foreign trade deficit is just the way our politicians are practicing the transfer of wealth from us to foreign ingrates. And the more wealth we transfer, the more hated we become by the rest of the world. Go figure. You would think by us pumping trillions and trillions of dollars into the global market we would at least get a thank you from these jealous mongrels, but no, they do nothing but complain about us.

Since the Unions have driven most jobs out of this country it is almost impossible to produce much of anything anymore. The Auto workers union crippled that industry while the steel workers union, coupled with unrealistic emission control laws killed that industry. Liberals have been remarkably efficient is taking our industry away. While the Clinton's funneled jobs to China in exchange for campaign dollars, they also pushed for controls on emissions that made heavy industry impracticable. The Europeans subsidized their steel industry while we broke ours. Now the old Giants like Bethlehem Steel and US Steel have faded into history. Even the Aluminum industry has lost it's edge. Time the people wise up and push import restrictions on countries that fail to maintain the emission standards and worth standards that they made mandatory for this country.
