Feeling nauseous most of the time. Extremely tired. Sensitive to smells. I even get car sick. Just trying to gauge when this will end. I have been feeling this way for about a month. I am 2 and a half months pregnant. What has been your experience?

I had morning sickness from 5 - 12 weeks pregnant. Same thing as you...very car sick (never had problems like that before), couldn't stay in a grocery store for more than 10 mins., nausea, vomitting, dehydration, weight loss. My final shibang was a trip to the ER. I would say at 11 weeks it started tapering off, final shibang, then was gone. Good Luck! My life savers during those times were sugar free lemon discs, wouldn't eat anything til after 8:30 am, small bits of food (cereal, fruit) throughout the day...key: never hungry, never full, flavor ice popsicles, gatorade, ginger tea. ER gave me Zofran, helps a ton with nausea...only took it though after my 12 week shibang (that's the only time I had heard of it..and really wanted to intervene with meds.) Good Luck!

So heres the best answer I can give you: the short of it is it may go all the way throughout the pregnancy. The good news? it NORMALLY doesnt. coming from medical experience and a pregnancy here is what I can tell you. The worst of it normally comes between 2 months and 4 months. Most people once they hit the 2nd trimester it ends. For others it lasts all the way up until the 8th month. For me, the worst of it was until about 41/2 months- I got sick every morning before I even had a chance to eat and pure stomach acid was coming up, which is the worst. (to make it better drink a whole glass of cold milk fast, this will help it come up easier, and will not burn as much- you will still throw up, but it will make it easier) starting at about 5 months I didnt get sick every morning, but I got sick at least once every week, at random times.. sometimes at night, sometimes because of a smell.. and I would get nausiated a few times week. You just have to find out what makes it worse for you and just not do it. You can also figure out about when you will get sick, and eat the foods that help make you feel better (milk, bread, crackers, ect)

With my first pregnancy I was sick until about 12-14 wks and it wasn't that bad just alot of nausea. This time around I am currently on week 12 and it seems to be getting worse! It has been alot worse this time around. Most doctors say about 12-13 wks it starts to get better because you pregnancy hormone tops out at that time. Hope we both feel better soon!

I am so happy to say that at 10 1/2 weeks I am feeling better. I am still a little tired but I am not sick anymore and I actually am starting to feel like ME again.

Good luck!

It's not only different for each woman, but different each pregnancy as well.

With my first it was like someone flipped a switch at 3 months and I went from throwing up every single morning to feeling perfectly fine. With my second I was just nauseous and queasy all day every day until I delivered.

Generally most morning sickness will go away within the first trimester- your hormones stablize a bit. Mine was at about 13 weeks.

Good luck and congrats!

Sorry, I remember how that feels. Sadly there is no way to know when it will stop . It could stop tomorrow. It could stop the day that you give birth. No way to tell.

Mine ended when I gave birth. However, it did get a little better in the third trimester. I went from throwing up three times a day, to three times a week.

Good luck.

I felt nauseated the whole time between 8 weeks and 12 weeks, with both my kids. With any luck you should be feeling a lot better soon (and when you do, it can be quite sudden, my husband nearly fell over when I turned round and said I fancied a Chinese meal!)

With my first, it cleared up around 12 weeks. With my second, it lasted until about 20 weeks.
