When I walked into the kitchen, I snagged a strawberry pop tart off of the counter and hugged my mom good-bye. My sister Alyssa, who is 9, hated when I talked to her in the morning, so I didn't bother saying good-bye. I saw the bus pulling up to my house, and ran as fast as I could to catch it. Luckily, I made it just in time. I slouched into a seat next to my best guy friend, Chris. We had been friends since third grade, and always had something interesting to talk about. "Hey, loser." he joked. "Hey Chris." I replied. I sat down next to her and we talked for the whole bus ride while we made fun of “gansta” kids on our bus trying to dance.
When we arrived at school, I was greeted by the always annoying, Tia. "Oh my god, it’s Alex!" She squeaked. "Hey Tia" I mumbled. "ha-ha lacrosse was so much fun yesterday, and did you see Mike! Wow what a hottie, he’s obviously in love with me!” As I laughed to myself, I tried to fake a smile while I realized how conceited some people were.
