sit on something else. there's nothing you can do. it's your parents' couch. just know that when it's time for you to buy your own furniture, you won't buy a leather couch like your parents did.

Sit on a different chair, or the floor, or a beanbag. I mean leather is too expensive to ask your parents to get rid of.

There really isn't anything you can do about the sofa, but you can stop worrying about it. If you wish don't sit on it, but at this point there is no way to save the cow that is now your sofa. Sometimes in life there are many things that we cannot change, when this happens the only thing to do is change your point of view or else you will drive yourself nuts. A big part of being accepted for our ideas and reasoning is to accept others. Relax.....

I know how you feel - my parents had a leather interior car and i hated it, but had to go to school in it everyday, unfortunately there really isn't anything you can do but avoid sitting on it if possible, and, if they decide to get a new one, maybe suggest that a material one would be better, and cheaper

You are still living at home as a minor, am I correct? There really isn't anything that you can do about it. You can maybe tell your parents about your beliefs on the couch but I wouldn't make a big deal about it. They have their beliefs you have yours. However, when you are able to leav eyour parent's home then you can purchase the type of products that you want to support your belief.

You just need to deal with it. You have your views and your parents have theirs. You can believe and think how you want as long as you are not infringing your beliefs on others. That is why we live in the good old USA

Don't sit on it. Sit in a wooden chair. There is nothing you can really do. They like leather? Maybe you can pretend that it came from cows that died of old age.

Just avoid sitting on it. It isn't your couch and you have no right to tell them to get rid of it so it is just best to avoid being on it if you can.

ouch that does suck. well the only that you can do is adjust to it or stay in your room forever. I remember when my dad got a leather couch and i really didnt like it, but once i adjusted to it i started to notice that it was really comfortable, and easy to sleep on :).

hey are you a vegetarian?
if so i think that is so cool because i'm one too :)

What's done is done. Not sitting on it won't bring the cow back. Your parents can do what they want with their money. You can't preach to them, especially if they don't preach to you.
