Gandhi,by his philosophy of non-violence and self discipline managed to get independence for India. He opposed violence and independence was gained without any bloodshed. He swayed masses without any oratory. He lived like millions of poor Indians. He practised what he said.In spite of this neither the British nor Nobel ecognized his great achievement. One can understand the British as after India its Empire crumbled. Nobel seems to be very biased.

My daughter-in-law has had a baby 2days ago. She is in tears as her breasts are full and sore and no milk is coming out to feed baby. What can she do to relieve her and let her milk run and to avoid fever??? I'm desperate for a good answer as she is thousands of miles away. I have a 1990 auto. camaro with a new 355(it was bored 30 over). The new engine has about 5k miles on it. The car is now burning about 1qt of oil a week. It seems like over time its just gotten worse. It does blow smoke out of the exhaust but not a whole lot. I had one of my friends tell me what color the smoke is when I hit the gas and he said a little of blue/black/and white but mostly black. But I always get different responses when I ask someone, but most the time they will say black or blue. Every time I've looked at the exhaust its black, and occasionally a little blue. I am not loosing any coolant, at least not according to my overflow resivoir. I recenly put a new intake manifold, and carb on it and didn't know exactly what I was doing but didn't have a choice(don't have the $ for mechanic), so for about 2 weeks my engine would get close to 230 because it was lean, thats fix now and running at 205. How do i know if I blew a head gasket? could my unplugged pcv valve be the prob?

On september 15 the cardinals have a double header against the cubs, and on their schedule the second game is listed to be on tv, but not the first one, as if it wasn't even going to be on cable tv... now first of all, why would you show one game on cable and another on tv, and second why would you show one game on tv and the other not at all? how stupid are they? and besides it's on a saturday so it's not conflicting with any real programs, maybe a movie or something... so why not show both games? and while we're on the subject why is it that they only show most games on cable anyway, why not show them on both tv and cable unless there's an important show on on tv...?

I am going on a cruise with my family on October 8 around the Mediterranean, starting from Dover and ending in Barcelona. It will be aboard the new NC ship-the Norwegian Gem. Is anyone here going? I'm doing a book report and using the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) where it says on the summary for policy makers on page 6. I think i'm reading the wrong graph, (I hate graphs), but its the one that says "Global Average Temperature" and is a steep slant upward. I looked to the left it looks down on the left as much as it is up on the right. But the numbers are real small on the side (.5 degrees). Is this right? Global warming means .5 degrees?

In my last job, I had such a terrible boss that I am affected mentally and emotionally. He was an extremely intimidating person who commanded respect. He had a way about him that made people in the depatment look up to him and everyone wanted to please him. If we got kudos from him, it made our day. If we go negative feedback from the boss- we were crestfallen.

Anyway, he decided I was not good enough for his team and fired me. He liked to stare, smirk, yell and scream at me and he liked the fact that he was able to intimidate me. He liked playing the bully. I knew he was a bad man, but something about him made me want to keep trying to please him. Well, I failed and now the fight is out of me. I have struggled going back to work and would rather just watch TV and play with the Internet.

Can you relate?
