I want to throw a party for my friend, she is working really hard to lose weight and she has lost 40 lbs now on the "crack smokers diet."


I didn't want to get her anything fattening like a cake but I need some good ideas.

Iam a muslim. The college where i study consists of mostly non muslim students. So sometimes i feel a bit lonely and think that there's no one there with whom i can share my thoughts and feelings.

How do I separate the two areas? My kitchen/living room is square shaped -- the kitchen is at the top of the box, my living room takes up the right side and bottom of the square and the left side of the box is the entrance into the apartment.

Currently, I have a waist-high bookshelf with plants separating the entrance area from the living room, a butcher block table separating the kitchen from the entrance and a table running along the far right side of the square.

There's too much going on and not enough delineation to make the two areas look separate. Any suggestions how to improve things?

I know catholics can drink, but is it okay for them also to get drunk according to their beliefs? And if so, could someone explain the rational behind why? My friend is catholic and we were having this discussion. To me, the bible clearly states drinking is okay, but to over consume is wrong. But maybe I am missing something. Thanks!

I have a few favorite candys. I like Kit Kats (I have a cat named Kit Kat) Zeros, Hot Tamales, Rocky Roads, Twix, Suckers, anything gummy that does not contain gelatin. My least favorite Candy is Good and Plenty's ugh! I hate them. I am also not too fond of dark chocolate. What is your favorite and least favorite candys??
