I have an Ikea wood table with an ash acrylic-based veneer. I want to polyurethane it to protect it from spills, scratches, & other wear & tear. Has anyone done it? I'd like some tips on how, whether to use acrylic-based semigloss, and whether to spray, or paint with a bristle brush or foam brush. Do I have to sand first?

These kinds of people are just plain weird. They can't stay in the sun or they burn (like Dracula). They also age much slower and can appear much longer than they really are (like Dracula). The greeneyed ones can even defy physics and fly throughout the air and are the source of most succubus attacks on sleeping men. These Irish and Scottish people just need to know when to stop messing with us humans!

I just watched a show on MTV about Obbsessive complusive disorder. there was a girl on the show and she had MAJOR problems with her O.C.D she had to do rituals and sorts. She said her O.C.D started off with little things like having to [for example] count lines on a wall over and over again...When I saw that i was like "OMG I DO THT" now i am afraid that I am gunna have like O.C.D please someone help im just 13 and i always play mind games with myself is this just a silly mind game or do i have a real problem!!! OK..Please only answer if you have knowledge on this. I have severe panic and anxiety and the only relief I have found is through an antidepressant called Lexapro and an anti-anxiety med called Xanax. I only take .5 mg a day of the Xanax because I have a VERY stressful job and it gets me through the day. I have "wiened" myself from Lexapro entirely.
I am currently trying to get pregnant and have some known fertility issues. I am doing acupuncture and chinese herbs before going the specialist route to help me get pregnant. Will Xanax interefere with ovulation? Is there a safe alternative?

I hired a professional photographer for my wedding. I ended up with a little over 300 shots. Paid about $1400 total. I am getting a $200 credit toward prints. Plus a DVD with a release form allowing me to print my own additional pictures elsewhere.

The prices from the professional are as follows:

4x6 - $10
5x7 - $15
8x10 - $20
11x14 - $30
12x18 - $45

They are running a 2 for 1 special in about a week, so I am holding off for that.

If I take my DVD elsewhere, the costs are going to be considerable cheaper.

So here is my question. Do I use the credits to buy all the big size prints that I might want for frames? And then do all the 4x6 elsewhere?

Or do I have them create a memory book instead with that money? The books are over $200.

I am just not sure which way to go with this. My guess is that the pro prints will be on better paper and probably better spent on the bigger ones that I would frame rather than on 4x6 prints that will be in a photo album.

I started dating a man that was 50 when I was only 17. Jerry had been married twice & older kids and a few younger ones. I like the time we spent together and he paid a lot of attention to me. I've had a few bf's in high school, always went to the dances and such, but I like my time with the older guy better than the guys my age. I've kept this from my parents because of the age difference. When I turned 18 I decided I want to finally have sex for the 1st time. I told Jerry I wanted to do this on my 18th birthday. Of course he was happy. I went & bought some lingerie & the night of my bday, Jerry & I made love all night. I loved it, however I did get pregnant even though we used protection. I am graduated from HS & on my way to junior college. Jerry offered to help with the costs for me. Will people think less of me for doing this with a man that old? when the baby is born will it be healthy? Jerry also passed a kidney stone before we conceived the baby, thus will the baby get them?

Hey!! My test came back that i was ovulating on the 24th and the 25th. Me and my husband had intercourse on the 20,21,22,24,25,26...What is the earliest i can test? Also are there any signs in the meantime that i could look for that would mean pregnancy??? Im just scared ... i had a miscarriage on July 3rd.... so im just TTC #3!!! I gained 5 pounds on a recent 1 week vacation because we ate pretty badly there and when I got home, I started excercsizing it off, I missed my period that month and then last month, I lost three pounds and now am taking an herbal diet pill. Could the fact that I haven't had my period be due to the fact that we ate junk food and take out the entire vacation long and my body was not used to that? My pee was very strong smelling and yellow the second, third and fourth nights of vacation also.

My wife was involved in a hit and run accident yesterday. She was making a left turn into a private driveway. She was in the center lane ( 1 lane in each direction, the center is for turning.)waiting for traffic to be clear. Another vehicle came head on toward her (driving in the center lane) at a high rate of speed. She was scared to death there were going to hit her head on! At the last second, the car swerved into oncoming traffic sideswiped her car and kept on going weaving in and out of traffic. They never slowed down. Nobody else around stopped. She was so shaken up, not able to identify car or drivers. We did not call police as we couldn't tell them anything. What would possess someone to behave in such a manner? Anyone ever experienced a similar situation.
