I think that we can take so many disappointments? How many people, we believe that has a good opinion of we, perhaps, and we can discover that does n't it?

I think that is you're good at what you do, you can learn enough about a person in a few moments, and that is what they are allowing you to know about them, whether they are conscious of it or not. If you're really good at it, that should suffice. Besides, the human mind can process many pieces of information at once, and I really wouldn't want to know any creep-o thoughts that anyone has. Sick!

Yes. I think it would be pretty useful for me. I like to argue and debate, so that would help quite a bit. The most common theoretical disadvantage of telepathy is that most people couldn't stand knowing the innermost thoughts of someone else, because the inherent evil and selfish nature of man would be immediately apparent. However, for a world-weary, jaded cynic like me, nothing would surprise or rattle me. I've seen some of the worst things human beings can do or think. More wouldn't bother me.

I really think I would. People tend not to tell you how they feel and then get mad at you for not realising how they feel. It's annoying so reading their thoughts would help. It'd hurt though to find out that someone you like doesn't like you too or if someone hated you and hadn't told you. I'd do it though so that nobody could read my thoughts. I swear if people knew what went through my head, I'd be locked up. :P

on an interacting level then no u can sometimes get what theyre thinking by their body language anyway. but if i cud read other peoples thoughts say for example i was a juror( by determing whether or not theyre guilty/innocent) then thatd be a gud thing wudnt it?

No. Sometimes it would be nice but honestly, I don't think I could handle if someone was thinking something bad about me. A person can be given 100 compliments and one bad one. They will focus on that bad one.

Yes. But I'd like the ability to turn it on and off and to single people out.

It'd kill romance, you'd always know what they're going to say! Also, school tests everyone'd get 100 percent.

I don't think so.
You're hearing the negative and positive.
But then again, you'd get their honest opinion.
But thought are private... I wouldn't want my thoughts read... so no.

sure!
but i would want to be able to turn it on and off.

there would always be the possibility of hearing something you don't want to hear....
like someone looking at your butt and thinking "damn she looks fat in those jeans...."

on the other hand, no i'd rather not.
It would be too complicated. how would you know when to listen and when not?
