MEXICO CITY: The recently deported illegal migrant and activist who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year, has asked the Mexico's president to appoint her "peace and justice" ambassador so she can return to the United States. Elvira Arellano, 32, who sought refuge to avoid being separated from her U.S.-born, 8-year-old son, was arrested and sent back to Mexico on Aug. 19 after traveling to Los Angeles to attend a rally for the overhaul of U.S. immigration laws. Her son stayed in the United States. "What I'm asking for is a diplomatic visa so that I can be an ambassador for peace and justice because I'm not a terrorist and the United States can't continue treating undocumented migrants as terrorists," Arellano told reporters after meeting with President Felipe Calderon at the presidential residence, Los Pinos. In a news release, the president's office said Arellano asked the Mexican government to help her get a visa so she can enter the United States but it did not mention Arellano's request for a diplomatic appointment. Calderon asked Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa to "look into the situation that Mrs. Arellano and her son face and to approach U.S. authorities so that we can respond to (her) request," it said. Arellano became a national symbol for illegal immigrant parents by defying her deportation order and speaking out from Chicago's Adalberto United Methodist Church, where she sought sanctuary with her son on Aug. 15, 2006. Although it may seem like this question would have an obvious answer, it does pose a small dilemma once you actually think about it.

Which is better to buy? Tester Eau de Parfums or The originals? (Of course, I always opt for the originals)

The dilemma part: Testers always come with a DEEP discount
as opposed to spending $40-$90+ bucks for the originals.

I have/had a crush on a guy at work. The thing is we used be close friends and I started liking him as more than a friend and I told hm . I got the since that he liked me too since he always flirted with me and cracked jokes, etc. But, he has a gf in the Phillipines whom he is engaged 2 since I helped him get the ring for her. He only gets to go back there once every 2 years and I think we started experiencing sexual tension since we had a convo about doing it. I called him a dog since I thought he was comin on to me but then he denied he was serious bout it and said he was kidding. Iwrote a letter apologizing to him but then he started ignoring me. He said I should focus on someone else and it's best that we no longer be friends since I was 2 weird & obsessive bout him. I emailed him saying that we were both wrong for talking about sex, he blamed me for being weird. i got mad and told him not to b my friend. He said not email/talk 2 him unless work relatd. we're ignoring each other.

I have a recurring dream (I started having it as a child) in which I am on these steep stairs. They aren't in a house, there is nothing but air around them and I keep climbing and the higher I get, the more scared of heights I get. I am frozen with fear and clinging to the stair rail. I am literally paralyzed and in a sitting position; crawling at times on my hands and knees. I wake up sweating, heart pounding, terrified. I have probably had this same dream 20 or 30 times in my life. I had it alot as a child.

My sister gave birth to a stillborn baby at 23 weeks. I am really close to my sister and really looked forward to becoming an aunt. I saw him in the ultrasound the day before he passed away. Excel calculation gone wrong need help?
I work a Amgen and I am having touble using Excel sheets calculating the following order :

10 ^ -690 ( ten to the negative 690th power), I always get theresult as zero (0).
Can anyone tell me how to define these numbers so the calculations and result express the exponents , i know the numer is extremely small but that is how it goes for this calculation. hope you undestand my question english is not my 1st or seconnd language.



it just occured to me what if i take the logarithm and express is it that way then at the end go back?

We recently bought this recliner from Haverty's

All the recliners except one in it go into a total 180 degree position. But one goes only 120 degrees. Is there a way to repair this??
We bought it from their outlet stores and hence I cannot complain. I did not notice this flaw when we picked it up, when we came home, we experienced this..Please help..

I'm not the jealous type. The short of it is this guy and my gf have been good friends since before I knew either one of them, though HE has been dating the same girl since before he knew my gf (all can be confusing, I know), so I never felt weird about it. Since meeting my gf, me and this guy have actually become pretty good friends, so I extended him the benefit of the doubt with regards to my gf, that they were '
"just friends". Look, I'm a guy. I know what a guy in a "just friends" situation might be thinking.

Anyways, yesterday he sent a couple of texts to my gf that I wish he hadn't (not about his eternal love for her or anything, but some stuff I didn't appreciate). I responded to one of them after she told me what he had said, but I still need to make it clear it better not keep happening. I have to rely on my words, I'm afraid, because he's probably got 80 pounds on me and he isn't fat.

What could I say, as a friend but also as a bf first?

I started renting a house 1 month ago and we have noticed some things in the house that need to be fixed. So, what would you concider a landlords problem or a tennents responsibility?

Leakey faucet?
Broken faucet handle?
Steam cleaning the carpets?
Broken garage door?

Oh by the way...we noticed all of these things before we moved in and the landlord said he would pay to fix them. I was just wondering what would be reasonable. Thanks!
