They can get pregnant with a litter while still nursing the one they just had! Keep the kitty safe and get her spayed as soon as she's done nursing this litter (6-8 weeks, depending on the progress of the kittens).

I have seen cats come IN heat again within 2-4 weeks after giving birth. This is why cat overpopulation is a great problem. One cat can have many litters yearly!

Generally- when there are no more babies- it has been observed that male cats will actually go in and kill off the litter so that they can breed with the female- once there's no more kittens she can go back into heat in as little as three days.

i had 2 female cats,they got pregnant together and had their babies a few days apart.
and...they both went back into heat roughly, 3 weeks later,and got prego again,(got them fixed right after that)

I believe its' 3 or 4 months, but check with your local vet.

i would say 6-8 weeks also i reccomend getting her netured or spayed. it also makes them nicer.

8 weeks I think.
I know it's not long after she has kittens.
