how would you feel if your wife left you little love notes in your car and stuff? Would it embarrass you, or would it make you feel good? What do you think?

It would make me feel good.
Like anything else though it could be come too much of a good thing. That's when I'd start getting suspicious.

Ah! Great question!
Personally, I LOVE it when my wife leaves little "forget-me-nots" for me. They seem to brighten my day. HOWEVER, I am a very romantic and mushy kind of guy.
Since you asked this question here, I get the feeling that your husband does not like it and has gotten embarassed by the fact that you did it. Which, in turn no doubt, made you feel insecure. "Why does he not like it?" "Is he ashamed of me?" "What is he hiding?" However, you shold not feel this way.
What we have here is a typical case of a break-down in communication which, stems from your two separate up-bringings. Your husband may not have had a very affectionate upbringing , so your little notes, though intened to be sweet and loving, put him in aa unfamiliar situation where he does not know HOW he is expected to respond.
And that is ok. Everyone one likes little gentle reminders of someone's love. However, if these reminders are not received and responded to in the manner we expect, we can get out feelings hurt.
The best thing to do is to tell your husband that you would like to leave him little note and that they will not be rique or embarassing, and then ASK him if that is ok. If he says that he prefers that you do not, then find another way to communicate your love throughout the day to him. BUT BEFORE YOU TAKE ANOTHER COURSE OF ACTION, ASK HIM IF HE IS OK WITH IT!!!
Honestly, coming to Yahoo! Answers is not the most beneficial way to deal with your situation. Everyone has different upbringings and it could be that today, when you asked this question, there are a lot of guys on here who DO like these things and their answers will reflect it. THIS will make your husband seem strange, when infact he most likely isn't.
There is nothing wrong with doing what you are doing EXCEPT that your husband does not like it. Find what he DOES like and then do that.
Easy enough.

I think it would be great. The best way to make a man feel good is to tell him that you're proud of him. Be sincere with your notes, but I disagree with the other answerers. I think the more, the better.
I'll never forget the times my wife told me she was proud of me. The first time she did it she didn't over-embellish it, just stated it in an off-the-cuff kind of way, and I was floating on Cloud Nine for the rest of the week.
And she reaped the benefits as well.

I would feel good unless it came to be over bearing. I mean, just like everything in life, it is good when done in moderation. I hate to sound like Tony St. Clair in a Tangueray commercial but it is true. If you leave too many notes lying around then it just seems weird and almost stalkish, but every now and then would be a nice thing.

I do that to my husband... He looks for them... In fact I just had a baby, came home from the hospital and he did the same for me on my pillow.
If he is mature enough to handle the notes, why not leave him a love letter or words to make his day easier.... Now, more people should try it, before they condem it.

If my wife left me luv notes like dat, i would b happy. Dat means dat she luv n cares 4 me. It wouldnt embaras me, it would make me feel gud(after all shes my wife). I jus wish my wife did dat to me.

I get them and I love them. I leave them too. What is to get embarrassed about, screw other people if they do not like it.
