If I was Mike Vick, I would have been crying and begging for forgiveness. He looks sheepish and seems like he can't believe this is happening. Even if he's not truly sorry, it would be good from a career perspective, to look really sorry.

This was said to me by one of my late dads m8's. who watched me grow up into a woman, and it was said after not seeing them for a while and after my dad had died. They payd their respects and then just said it to me, i wasn't thinking straight at the time and very emotional to see them and didn't ask why most unlike me! but i have always wondered Why and what they meant by it.

My religious questions keep on getting removed. And I have seen questions that are ALOT worse. Like ones asking how to kill Jews that are still in the USA. they are STILL on yahoo answers!!!! Is it because I am agnostic and someone is upset and flagging all my answers EVEN nonreligious ones. Or is Yahoo! Answers employees are utterly religious? I'M PISSED. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I just saw a question on here from the church folks that jogged another question for me. They asked if any atheists are afraid of believing in god, cause they might be called stupid.

So I make a somewhat converse query.

Do you sit in church on occasion, hearing the preacher spout nonsense --

And are you afraid to stand up and say "Brothers and Sisters, the Bible god was invented by that pervert Moses and his syphilitic half-borther Aaron (not to mention their hunchback one-tooth sister Myriam)!"?

I work at a provincial college in Canada. Of all my colleagues, only two of us are not native English speakers. Today, when I tried to speak Chinese with the other colleague, my program head asked me to his office and told me that I must not speak unofficial languages at work. Does he has to the right to do so?

My sons 7 and 10 really want a dog. I love dogs too but not sure if i should get one. Everyone says that they are a tie. I think it would be great for my youngest especially. I don't mind the walking even in bad weather. I just don't want to rush into it. What do you think. And if I do, what type of dog shall I get? Thanks in advance.

My neighbor is a troubled man and although I'm not a doctor I've got darn good reason to believe that he has a mental illness.. . my guess - Schizophrenia . My aunt had/has the same thing and he exhibits all the same signs . Lately he's under extreme pressure on his job and I think it has triggered a new level of his illness . He can be functional , totally functional it seems at times(I think he takes medication , but when really sick I wonder) but then spiral into senselessness .

My visit with him last week did not go well . He wasn't making a helluva lot of sense and eventually I just resorted to agreeing with him and attempting to change the subject to better things . It worked a little bit , but by the end of the visit more non-sensical things kept coming out of his mouth .

What Can I Do To Help Him ?
Does Talking About Positive Subjects Help ?

Ok this is mainly for men but women I'd like to know how you are treated?
Curious...(men) do you tend to treat your wife like your Mom? You know expecting her to cook, clean, do your laundry, get you up, keep up with your social life as well as "where you put your _____"? Or do you treat her as your wife....Thanking her for the job she does and making sure she feels like a wife and not just the maid/mom?
Think about it....say thank you! Don't have the attitude of "I thank her by giving her a nice house and etc." TELL HER THANK YOU! If you do that already I give you a HUGE pat on the back.

It's my understanding that you can deduct the fees that you paid a company to manage investment property?

Well what if I was wanting to start my own property investment firm? Could I manage my own properties and charge myself a fee and get it back on my taxes at the end of the year? Or would that open a whole new can of worms?

What if a family member had a property management firm and they charged me slightly over the norm to manage the property?
You guys see what I am getting at? I'd rather keep my money circulating between my family members than the government, especially if I can claim the management fees on my taxes at the end of the year.

Is my reasoning unethical?

My friend lives next door to me. We now have an arrangement where she babysits my children once a week for 1-2 hours while I go to class, just until my husband get home from work. For this favor she asked $8 an hour. When I do favors for her I get no reimbursement (giving her rides, watching her dog while she vacations, lending her textbooks etc).

She has decided that she doesn't want to go back to her work-study this semester so she has a lot of free time on her hands now. She has asked if she could babysit my children on Tuesday and Thursdays while I am in class. I currently take them to a daycare center. She says she could use the money, plus this way she can "do her homework and stuff" while babysitting which she couldn't do at her work.
My problem is that when she babysits she is rarely on time, thus making me late. She also does things like asking for their carseats so she can run errands and grocery shop etc. She sometimes takes them to her house so she can cook and clean.
