I want to make parts of my worksheet unavailable to users so that they can not click in the cell, change formats of the cell(s), etc..

Excel Help tells me that the only way to do this is if I am SHARING the workbook but this is not that kind of thing. It's not on a network and it's not a multi-user workbook.

How do I protect (for example) A1:A10 yet leave everything around it open for data-entry?

PS: I am working with Excel 2007, but I also need this information for my 2003 files that I use on another computer as well.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Like 0% loans, higher credit limits, canceling annual fees, etc.?

It's a simple formula really that I've used over and over.

If you have a card with no or very little balance, and your overall credit is good, call that card and cancel.

They'll start offering you all kinds of perks to keep you on board, because it's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The cards know its much easier and cheaper to retain an existing customer than get a new one. You should do this with all your cards once a year.

My last time around, 1 card gave me $20k at 0% for 1 year with no transfer fee. Another gave me $24k at 0% for 10 months with a $75 fee. I put all that money into a high interest online savings account and made about $175, while using that money to make the monthly payments.

I'd bet they do the same for you to, maybe not with those dollar amounts, but the idea is the same. If they want to stick you with a fee, tell them they've got to waive it or cap it.

I was watching the following video link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2O4lbgX81U

Some of the lies I was easily able to identify in the video:

The elder states family members expelled from JW congregations are not treated differently by the family.

He states JWs do not disdain disfellowshipped members or consider them all wicked and demonic.

He states JWs are allowed to speak to disfellowshipped members.

He states JWs do not use the word "shun" to describe DF/DA.

He states the WT did not publish a child custody brochure.

He states JWs say hello to disfellowshipped members they encounter.

I KNOW FOR A FACT these are outright lies. My parents have been JWs for more than 35 years. Believe me, I KNOW what they believe.

So, my question is: How is this elder's testimony not perjury/outright lying? Doesn't the Bible say that God HATES a lie but that Satan is the "Father of lies"? How should people viewing this video reconcile this?

It seems that a lot of people complain, whine, moan and groan, but how many people actually get out there and try to affect change? What have you done to affect change in something that you were dissatisfied with?

My credit score is over 700, my mortgage will be about 1246 a month, I make about 3300 gross, and I pay about 500 dollars between car payment and student loans. I have about 20 grand saved up in the bank. My mortgage guy told me on Tuesday that he submitted the loan to the underwriter on Tuesday and that I should hear from him later that day or tomorrow for the clear to close. Its now the end of Thursday and I haven't heard anything at all! I don't know why but I'm worried this whole thing will fall through. THe property is only 116K by the way, and I plan on putting down 10 percent down payment.

The BEST Divorce Letter EVER!!!!

Dear Wife:

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you for good. I've been a good man to you for seven years, and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today, and that was the last straw.

Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had gotten a new hair cut, cooked your favorite meal, and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You came home and ate in two minutes, then went straight to sleep after watching all your soaps.

You don't tell me you love me anymore, you don't want to
have sex anymore or anything. Either you're cheating on me or you don't love me anymore. Whatever the case is, I am gone.

Your EX - Husband

P.S. Don't try to find me. Your SISTER and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband:

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It is true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good man is a far cry from what you've been.

I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. Too bad that doesn't work. I did notice when you got a hair cut last week. The first thing that came to mind was, "You look just like a girl!", but my mother raised me not to say anything, if you can't say anything nice.

And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating steak seven years ago.

I turned away from you when you had those silk boxers on because the price tag was still on them. I prayed that it was just a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning and your new silk boxers were $49.99.

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So, when I discovered that I had hit the lottery for Ten Million Dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone.

Everything happens for a reason, I guess.

I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that with your letter you wrote, you won't get a dime from me.

So take care.

Signed,
Rich and Free!

P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this but Carla, my sister, was born CARL. I hope that's not a problem.

Change is good.

With all the taxes the streets should be paved with gold. In other countries, even Cuba, you can buy the medicines that even I need for a nickle. It costs $40 in USA but a dime or nickle in Cuba. President Bush, Please explain this to me! I could buy enough meds for6 years for the cost of what I pay in USA. Why do US citizens have to pay so much? And NO! There are not long waiting lines .
