I think it would be great...women need to be encouraged to take care of babies.

I love babies, but since I don't have one right now, I would feel kind of weird putting one on my avatar. I have my cat on my avatar, though!

Well, in my opinion I think it would be cool if both women and men avatars could have the baby. I think men AND women need to be encouraged to take care of babies/children.

I think you've got it backwards, though.
At the rate single womena are filing Head of Household, Men need to be encouraged to take care of their babies.
Did you see the article on passports? Can't get one if you're over 2,500.00 in arrears. So far, in 2007, they've collected over 22 million in arrears child support.

Actually, they do have pregnant avatars and ones holding babies. For someone like me, who doesn't have children at home, that would not be something good for me. That kind of avatar doesn't suit my personality even if I did have a child at home.

I don't need to be encouraged. I love my children and the children I teach. They are way beyond the "holding in a blanket" stage though.

Avatars are fake cartoons. Women are people, they are equal to males. Why do women "need" to be encouraged to take care of babies, why don't you go adopt one instead of complaining about women so much?
