I'm still only beginning to learn about this religion, but I *think* they go to a temporary hell (a learn-your-lesson type of place) and then they come back as another life form to try and do better (good karma.)

You reincarnate to a more difficult life or as what you were prejudiced against.
They worship cows and are close to Egypt, which worshiped dung beetles and cats at one point so I don't know if they believe in reincarnation to a different species.

I'm not hindu, but in my religions class they said that the person comes back as an ant or something.

I heard you just come back as something lower than a human. you only get promoted up the human ladder if you do good. otherwise, you go down into animals. I don't think you can be a cow though....
