There is emerging evidence to support the theory that belief in God is built into human evolution as a survival mechanism. I've been married for 6 years. We didn't have a wedding 6 years ago, we got married in a court house and had a little party after the ceremony. I was upset about it for years, I was only 20 when we got married and I always wanted to have a dream wedding. My husband promised me that we would have a nice wedding. So we had a church wedding 4 months ago and it was a disaster. My stepdaughter fainted during the ceremony, my hair stylist didn't show up, the sound system didn't work at the church, food was not served on time at the reception, our pictures and video didn't turn out, etc. I put so much time and effort in this wedding! I made my own pew bows and I asked a friend to tie them to the pews but she forgot. There were no place cards ( I spent a month making them!). We never had a wedding night either, my husband fell asleep both times!I am still devastated. We had two weddings and I do not even have pictures! My husband says that we could have a third wedding.. How do I get over it?

Sometimes in the summer, outside, I hear something I can only describe as a loud buzz. It starts by crescendoing into a loud continuous buzz until it stops after about 5 or 6 seconds. Can anyone tell me what animal or insect generates this noise?

The seat belt chime in my 2006 Jeep Commander is so annoying. I don't need a reminder to put my seat belt on. I appreciate that some folks do need it. Is there a programming option to disable it? It might not be so bad if the it would chime less frequently or at a lower volume.

My dad is healthy, retired with a good deal of money, young at age 58 but lives with me and my husband and my 3 kids.
He does not "need" to stay with us. He can easliy afford something close to us. We love him dearly but as an adult, you move out of your parents house and you don't expect them to move back in with you - especially since he does not need to be cared for. It puts a strain on our marriage (only 4 years married) because we sometimes have no time to ourselves.
He does not help out with money, groceries or anything but expects me to cook and clean for him. He also sits out back of my house almost every day and just drinks beer - sometimes 12 a day. Now, I have 3 children and this is something that I don't want them exposed to. My dad can't even help babysit if I need to do something because he typically has already had too many beers.
Please help - I don't want to hurt his feelings and I have no idea how to say this to him.
