Guys, I played in megamillion lottery and I have 3 numbers that matched on it, am wondering how it works?

I am wondering how it works. This is the first time I play. Am just curious. They says you could win without even hitting the jackpot numbers

Ok, if you matched three of the regular numbers, then you won $7. If you matched two of the regular numbers plus the Mega Ball(3 total), then you won $10
