I went to the vet bcuz my roomies (who's out of town) dog had a laceration on his leg that needed to be fixed. They tried to charge my roomate 400 dollars to clean the wound, stitch him up, and for antibiotics. Knowing this was a lot of money, I called my roomate and he flipped. Said he wouldn't pay more than 150. (In his defense, they were wanting to do all kinds of expensive blood work and stuff that even I really figured was unnessasary.)
So I ask them what the bare minimum was that would fix the problem. They come back and say that they can cut out the blood work and do it for 110. My roomate (via phone) agrees, and looong story short the place was slammed. The vet gave the wrong instructions for the medicine (the dog could have oded if I hadn't asked her if it were right), and they didn't even stitch him up like they said! My bf was late for school, so when we left I didn't bother to check the dogs bandage.
I got home, and the bandage doesn't even cover the wound.

i just baught a Emachine computer and i downloaded world of warcraft to it the Emachine had windows vista already on it and when i got done downloading it it was laggy and it said there was something wrong with the display driver. i found out blizzard has a patch for it(which may be false) but i tryed to download it again and it said Couldnt Decompress ogg data. i dont kno wat it is i kno its not my hard drive cause the computer is new. would it be windows vista? and i was wondering if i took my computer to a computer repair shop could they download world of warcraft there? plz give me some answers

Have you ever dealt with someone that only wants to talk about them self and when you try to start talking (because you are in a conversation) they all of a sudden need to get going????? What the hell is all of that about why do some people do that? I listen to them ***** and moan all the time (trying to be a good friend) and then when it is my turn to give some feed back, I feel as if I'am being patronized and then all of a sudden cut off in the middle!! It is so flippin frustrating!!!! I never get to say anything unless it is in response to her dilemma. The conversation is over the phone and we are states away from each other (I moved 2 yrs.ago) and have been friends for a very long time. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm going to end up going active duty for the Army and I was wanting to know if there was any US Army bases in Australia. I've been given the option of choosing my permanent duty station and was wanting to go to Australia. If there isn't any, what would be a good location to go for 3 years. I'm sorry but what makes people think that if amnesty was granted to illegals today the ones in line to come here legaly will be left out . or behind I'm so sure those applying with all the paperwork and aplication on hand , will be the first ones to get the green card , or how did some of you think otherwise? I don't think a immigration reform will be a reward to outlaws for coming illegaly to this country , we have work so hard for a green card blood and tears we have left in the fields and sometimes our own lives . so we deserve it not a reward but a gratification , thanks.

ts in the year 2006 in the months from september through november. my dad gave me a phone call sayin that there was this gurl who wanted me to be in her quincinera (lits like a sweet 16 but for 15 year olds). i didnt want to but i said wat the hell. so when i went to practice i saw the gurl and was like she looks like a parrot. but over the course of three weeks i started to like her then i fell in love for the first time. after the quincenera i talked to her everyday. then i asked her if she wanted to be my gf. she was like ok. so then we went on a few dates for aabout a month. but our parents wouldnt let us go alone. WE HAD TO GO WIT SUPERVISION. (its not like were babies.) so we went to the ice skating ring one time. at that time i loved her. i felt so alive. her cousin also went along too. i asked if w can kiss but she said no. i asked and pleaded then her cuzn said wat the hell and told her to kiss me. then we kissed in a broken photo booth. i never kissed a gurl in my lif so i didnt no wat to do. i didnt move anything. then about a week later we had a good time. she said she can do anything she wants to her. it felt suspicious and i told her that she wanted to break up wit me. i was right. she said that when we kissed she felt nothing. so she told me she wanted to break up wit me but if we can be friends. i got mad and said no.

about a month later on myspace, there was this gurl named clea who i though was an old gurl at school that i liked. but it was my ex. she said that she only wanted to be friends with me. i got pissed off and told her to never talk to me again. tat was the last i have ever spoked to her.

now im $&%in depressed and feel that there is no love in my life. i even though one time of suicide.(i realized that that was stupid) though i didnt feel how i used to anymore. i felt darker. anger in my heart coursing through my veins. so thats my story

My girlfriend was VERY UPSET last night and asked me to stop over. I didn't feel like stopping over to see her after work.

She phoned and woke me up 3 times this morning asking me if she could come over to talk. I told her I didn't want to see her because she wouldn't tell me what was wrong last night.

I found out her friend was selling weed and my guy friend who was staying wanted to buy some. I offered to have her come over if she brought some weed and my friend would pay her for it. She got MORE ANGRY said she was having a bad day and worked from 3AM - 11:30 A.M. and wanted to be left alone and sleep.

We got into a HUGE ARGUMENT because she STILL wouldn't tell me what was wrong with her. All she would say is PLEASE leave me ALONE PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE we will talk about it tomorrow PLEASE.

I didn't want to wait until tomorrow and told her F**k you you stupid B**ch! She flipped out and FINALLY told me what was wrong. Turns out what was wrong was REALLY DUMB

I don't have any children, but my mother has favored my older brother all his life, even when he didn't deserve it, (and that was most of the time). As a result he has become self centered, spoiled and arrogant. She always defends his bad behavior and makes excuses for him, ever since we were children. Myself and my younger brother have always known that he is her favorite. I just want to know if anyone else has this experience. A lot of parents wont admit favoring one child over the other, due to guilt or denial. Honest, sincere responses only. Thanx.

Tschaikowsky's String Quartet in D major?
I know it's kinda 'out there'
but I'm part of a quartet that's trying to get this piece set up for a competition. I'm the celliest and I'm having a bit of difficulty with counting in the 9/8 time.
Even if you haven't played this piece...any helpful tips on counting with a 9/8 time? How can I practice this with a metronome? HELP!!! lol

Someone told me today to change it to the newer ozone friendly freon all you have to do is let all the old freon out and put the new stuff in, and it also requires a different type of connector so that the new freon can be added.

Is this true...That sounds just too simple.
