I need advice on how to sooth a 1 year old who may be possibly cutting molars or other teeth. No putting whiskey on the gums, thats crazy. What did you do that was helpful and what was the best advice you received that worked? Thanks so much!!

What would you if this were your mother?
I just recently visited my mom for the weekend. She had a chip on her shoulder the whole time and was looking for a fight with her husband etc. We stayed and made the best of it but were definitely ready to leave when the weekend was over. I had decided to move four states away in a year due to my husband finding a great job in Denver. Mom has already started the guilt trip asking me when am I coming back to visit (I live 7 hrs away) and how she wished I lived closer. I try to visit when I can out of respect but it seems unfair because mom does not work and her husband is self employed. They have never visited me. I work full time and go to school part time. It annoys me that my mom is not thoughful of this and puts pressure on me and no effort on her part. How can I politely tell her that it is her turn to visit me? Why does she not understand? She and her husband just got home from a trip 4 1/2 hours from their home for their anniversary, why can't they visit me?

My dog is a small poodle two days ago while playing in the yard a new neighbor let her young son come into my yard (private property by the way) and he tried to grab my dog the dog barked at him now she claims that my dog is a viscious little creature and the animal control forced me to take him to the shelter for 10 days for observation I think this is not fair since my dog was in my property the little kid should not have come in and my poor dog now has to stay alone where there not going to care for him as I do (believe me you would feel the same way if you saw how the shelter looks) well i don't know what to do please help.

As the biggest Filipino businesses cater mostly to foreign customers, they have no "need" to help their less fortunate countrymen. Politicians also ignore their constituents because most Filipinos are not able to pay income taxes to them, so thay see no need to service them in return. Both the Filipino pols and bizness people see no tangible "use" for these suffering masses so, together, they structure laws and policies that essentially disenfranchise the poor--which comprise the majority in the country. Ever notice how rich/powerful Filipinos and their families see right through poor people when they encounter outside their huge homes and restaurants? Poor people outnumber the rich by a 20 to 1 ratio, so it's heard to avoid them. Ever hear the rich daughter of a Fil-Chinese biznessman say how lazy and undeserving of opportunity the squatters are?

China has many things that need improvement, most of which we have little control over. But we do have consumer power. Best thing about it is that we are finding the result of US companies that wanted bigger profits by cheaper labor and went overseas. But as usual we are the ones that pay the price, less jobs, stuff that makes us sick. Yay!

If, when you're writing, you need help spelling a word, then ask ...." (etc)...

Can I have commas there? Or it is grammatically incorrect?

I think it gives emphases to the series of components in the sentence.
