i have 2 pregnant female guppies but im not sure when they will give birth 2 there fry??
i have them in seperate tanks by them selves .
this is a picture this is almost the same, the fry look as if at the same stage in the pregnacy

i have the 1 femail in a baby-saver in my main tank and the other female is in a smaller tank i brought thx guys u r helpin heaps

This one has still a long way to go, maybe 1-2 weeks
The gestation period is 28 days

The best way to tell when a guppy or any other live beare is about to give birth is a few days before she releases the young you can look at her from the back and she'll look square. Or you could just tell by if she looks like shes going to pop.

they should be due soon id say about 2 wks. it usually takes about 28 days for them have their babies. make sure you have some dense plants (maybe java moss) so the fry can hide. as soon as you see the fry swimming take the females out. if one has the babies before the other get another tank for the other female to have her babies in. the put those babies in with the others, unless they are very different sizes

Watch for the fry eyes to appear in the "gravid spot",that's a sure sign that the fry will be born in a week or two.
