It's going to be my first time waxing my eyebrows, and I'm going to a professional salon for it. Is there anything I should know beforehand? They won't mess up, will they?!

Oh, and I forgot to ask; after the first waxing, how often will I have to get it waxed after that?

Waxing is no good.... look in your area and see if threading is available. Waxing can REALLY burn your skin...

No, relax, they won't mess up. Before they do it, though, ask them a few questions. How long have them been doing this? Is it okay if your skin is sensitive? How much will it hurt/cost? How long will it last?
P.S. Eat a banana 5 minutes before getting your eyebrows waxed, I promise it will reduce the pain!

No, I am sure it will be just fine. I would take an advil or two, that helps with the discomfort for the first time, but it really is not that bad, I prefer waxing to tweezing.

nope, if you go to a professional salon they should be excellent, specially if they have a spa part where they wax your eyebrows its sooo soothing i just got mine done and she gave me an extra little massage it was wonderful!
oh and they'll use a soothing cream for the redness which
wont last long. just close your eyes the whole time & relax

I used to go to these wonderful Vietnamese ladies in Jacksonville, Florida. They were gentle and precise and I always came out of there with million-dollar eyebrows! They probably won't mess up since most likely they have been doing it for a while. You might be really red afterwards so I hope you don't have a date planned.

I got mine done for the first time last week.
It dosent hurt AT ALL.
It stings for like 2 seconds and then its gone.
Just trust them to do a good job, they shouldnt mess up.
Dont wear any makup.

It's gonna hurt, wear no makeup or bang. Relax, it'll get easier as you go along. Usually lasts 2-4 weeks depends on hair growth. GOOD LUCK!!

i wouldn't worry about them messing up...but i would tell them you want to skip the soothing oil they put on afterward. it made me breakout with little bumps, and they lasted for 2 weeks. just go home and put a cool cloth or ice on.... if you even need it. it doesn't hurt just gets red :)

bring a pic of the shape you want.theyll work with that and you brow bone.
