i'm in a very tricky situation that i don't know how to overcome,.A recruitment agency has offered me a temporary 2 week work period job starting tommorrow.I gladly accepted not knowing that i wasn't able to take this job cos of my studies.Now i want to ring her up to say i can't take it anymore cos i'm busy.But i feel really bad, cos she has been very nice and polite to me offering this kind of work.

What is an excuse i can use to tell her that i'm not able to accept this role at this stage.I really don't really want to do this, but i just can't do the job at this stage.Advice?

There are a lot of Asians living in my area, mostly Vietnamese and Chinese. So naturally the city is dominated by Asian restaurants and bars. The other night I decided to try a new bar out. I could see that I would be the only non-Asian there but I didn't think that would be a problem. But when I walked in, it was like all of a sudden everyone was staring at me and possibly talking about me in Chinese. I felt like I was an unwanted presence there. I just got a lot of looks that were less than friendly. I got one drink and left because I was really uncomfortable. It's too bad because it was a nice place. Is it rude for me to go to Asian bars or am I reading the situation wrong? I mean, I never made an Asian man uncomfortable when he was in a mostly white bar, I assumed it worked the other way as well.

I understand that its probably sad but it hasn't ate all day. He was with the older woman for about 4 years and she gave him to me because she knew I would take care of it. I've been trying to play with it for hours! It still just lies there and looks sad. He only lifts his head when someone is at the door. His food is out and he sniffed and licked it a few times but thats all. He's a house trained miniature schnauzer by the way...What can I do to get him to respond to me? How can I cure his sadness?

i made this when i was 10 now im 12 so yeahh

The midnight rain hit the cold glass on my window.
It hit the glass with a sparkling explosion.
It spread like peices of broken diamonds.
Millions of smooth, wet drops of water on a cool spring night.
Like fireworks on the fourth of July.
The drops seek through the ceiling into the room.
They fell in my mouth with a fresh spring taste.
Refreshing my body and making myself stronger than I am.
The taste made me grow with responsiblity and respect.
Making the room fill with magic water.
As the night passed away, the room suddenly dranned.
The night of magical spring can change your life forever.
