When you are standing in front of and facing the car, there are two connectors attached to the radiator shroud on your right near the battery. One has two wires, a black with red stripe and a white with black stripe. If you unplug that connector, the fans should come on full tilt. If they do not, first look in the largest relay/fuse box near the battery for a 30 A fuse labeled RDI (look in the fuse box cover for the labels). If it is bad, the fans won't run. If it is OK, try switching the fan No.1 relay (located in the same box) with the fan No.3 relay, located the box right next to it, but nearer the windshield. If switching the relays (while the connector is still unplugged) makes the fan run, you need a relay. If the fans did come on when you disconnected the connector on the shroud, the switch in the bottom of the radiator is bad. If none of this makes sense, you need to take it to a shop! ;-) There are lots of other mechanical issues that can be involved, but this should help on the fans.

there are relays and fuses for them, first look in the fuse panel, and see if there's any blown fuses, usually they are marked which fuse it is,the relays are located out side in the relay center for those, when you remove the cover it tells on the cover which one is for the fan, also you can try running 12 volts strait to the fan just to make sure its working,a lot of times it will be the fan that is bad on it,good luck on it.

First, turn your ac on and see if the fans come on. If not then its either going to be a relay or fan problem. You can buy a 12 volt test light, get a wiring diagram from the library or buy a manual for your car and do some simple tests yourself.

could be the fan motor or fuse or a bad electrical connection or it could be the thermostat is stuck open or stuck closed. if you cant get good heat from heater then it is stuck closed possibly do you have enough coolant in radiator. you can help cool the engine by not running the air conditioner and turning on the heat but that is only a last ditch thing also don't idle excessively

First flush radiater and see if there is a clog somewhere. Maybe even a leak. In town you would notice overheating while on highway it should be OK if you are going 55-70. Then it is the radiator. Go to mechanic first instead of trying out because you do not want to blow your engine.

i would try the fuses and relay. check all the hoses to make sure there is no coolant leaks and make sure there is antifreeze in it.
