My father has been defecating blood since january. A bit in January of 2007 so he went to see a doctor. The doctor told him nothing was detected and he gave my father some pills. The bleeding stopped for some time. Now its august and he has been defecating a lot of blood for the past weekend. So he is going to see a doctor tomorow. The blood is bright red and I am afraid he might be diagnosed with colon cancer.
Aside from the blood, the only other symptom I can find is the reduced size of his stools. I know that it might be some others diseases but obviously, colon cancer is the worst.
I know early stages of colon cancer can be treated easily, but given the situation (occasional bleeding in january, off, then again a lot in august), if worst comes to worst, he is diagnosed, what stage do you think he is in now?
This is a real situation, please no jokes. Thanks

I'm 15, my birthday's coming up and I told my parents I want to buy a lot of books since I'm a bookworm, you could say. The problem is I'm really confused on which books I should get. I already made a list, but I'm not quite sure if they would be good or not. I love Adventure, Fantasy, and Horror. I've been with my partner for 3 years now, and we've recently been discussing the whole business of marriage. Neither of us are keen on it, and would prefer a low-key commitment ceremony instead. He's been shopping for a ring that I will wear as an 'engagement ring', but will be more of a commitment promise ring.

My dilemma - how would I announce it? I'm just as excited as anyone getting engaged, and I'll be wearing the ring on my right ring finger, I just want people to understand that this is still a very special moment for the boy and I - even when marriage will never be a part of it.

So how do I announce the engagement that really isn't...?

It's now the night before (a monday) I'm supposed to show up for Jury Duty at 8AM. The phones are only open from Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm. I live over an hour away and in a different county, I should be disqualified for living in a different county, but I can't tell anyone that because I can't get in touch with anyone. Should I drive all the way there or should I not go and call at 9am to let them know?

There are about 10 houses for sale in my neighborhood and they just aren't showing. Some have been on the market for over 250 days. Realtor told us that it is a buyers market right now. I live in a booming suburb of Dallas, but I am getting frustrated. I can't come down from my asking price too much b/c I've only been in the house about 4 years and I don't want to take a hit just to move out of it. A friend works for a nationally known mortgage co and says the average house in the Dallas area is taking 10 months to sell. I can't wait that long! Any insight on the market from experts?

Listen, i'm creating a story filled with an amazing adventure and horror. It's about a little village who keeps having strange attacks by this mysterious creature every night. At first, the creature starts attacking thier cattle, leaving the corpse behind. Then, it attacks homes and goes after the innocent villagers. The warriors of the village try to take matters into thier own hands by killing this monster, but none came back alive. But thier is one villager that wont watch his village be currupter by this animal. 16 year-old Wayne goes on a journey on hunting this monster down and destroying it once and for all with the help of his firend Kira. Has anyone had an eye axam done at walmart? If so, do you think it was worth the cost? I was told $124. for an exam for contacts and $68. for an exam for glasses. I don't have insurance and can't wait 6-7 months to get into my regular dr. Do you feel they are knowledgeable and worth it?

A police officer observes a car rapidly approaching an intersection controlled by a stop sign. The car slows slightly and then zooms around the corner and continues on.

The officer pulls the car over and approaches the driver. The angry driver produces his license and asks "what is the problem?" Tthe officer tells him that he is being stopped for not fully stopping at the stop sign.

The driver says "Look, I am a lawyer, I am late for court, whats the difference, I slowed down, didn't I?".

The officer asks him to exit the car, which he does, and tells the lawyer "I am going to give you a legal demenstration". The lawyer agrees. The officer then pulls out his baton and begins to whack the lawyer on the legs rapidly.

After several blows, the officer asks the lawyer "Do you want me to Stop or Just Slow down?"

Do you think the lawyer got the point?

i was only 16 yrs old =[
since then my whole life changed
since i lost my baby wen i was 9 weeks pregnant.. i been depressd but really depressd, i jst cant handle it anymore, there is no day or night that i wount remember that horrible day
on january 2007 the doctor found out tha im depressd (depression after miscarriage)..since then i have to take almost 7 different pills every day and im sick and tired of taking so much medication but i know thats the only way that will keep me better with anxiety problems..=[..my parents support me alot but i cant stop feeling sad..

My husband decided that the job he was working was not a stable company. He went in today to turn in his two week notice. His boss, who just "loved his work" told him to bring his things in tommorrow. A nice person turned very ugly. Why would she not want him to work out a notice?
