I am working on a wedding sampler and made an error spacing the names. I removed the letters and restitched them however there is a shadow on the fabric where the original letters were. I used a dark purple and am afraid it will run if I try to wash it. Please help!

I'm painting my room and im planning on having a white ceiling with one white wall facing the windows. The rest of the walls will be a light apricot color. I want my small room to appear bigger and brighter (the two windows are small too). Oh and I also dont want it to look plain . Any suggestions?

I was raised that it was considered inappropriate to ask people their age, how much $ they may, how much they weigh, how much they paid for something. Nowadays it seems like any sort of question is fair game, and if you don't answer you are accused of "having something to hide." I recently heard a woman ask a co-worker about their sexual orientation and I was shocked at how rude that was. Her reason for asking? Simply...I want to know.

It's one thing if someone wants to self-disclose, but I'm wondering when did things change to where a body isn't allowed to have a few secrets or made to feel guilty for wanting to keep private things private?

I adopted a kitten from a rescue agency two weeks ago, and since then, my kitten (14 weeks now) has had little seizures. When she gets startled or is even just taking a rest, she'll all of a sudden start shaking and have saliva foaming up by her mouth. She cowards down and it usual is over in about two minutes. Have you ever heard of this? I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow, but I just was curious if you had any ideas??? It has happened approximately eight times that I've witnessed.

I used to spend hrs.getting ready just to go out the door before i had my daughter. Now I spend:
Shower-15-20 mins. Hair: 5-10 mins. usually up in a bun.
Make up- 10 mins. total about 20 mins. This is on week days when i go to work. Usually on weekends i dont even do my make up. I'm only 23. I feel like an old lady, because i don't do my hair nice anymore or wear stylish clothes. Just whatever i can find, fit. (I gained 35lbs. after my baby). So I feel pretty ugly. I just started dieting. I want to look pretty again, but I don't really have the time, and i feel like even if i do fix my hair and make up i will still look bad because I gained weight. Any suggestions? Thnx.

Before the final match, the American wrestler's trainer came to him and said, "Now don't forget all the research we've done on this Russian. He's never lost a match because of this "pretzel" hold he has. Whatever you do, don't let him get you in this hold! If he does, you're finished!"
The wrestler nodded in agreement.
Now, to the match: The American and the Russian circled each other several times looking for an opening. All of a sudden the Russian lunged forward, grabbing the American and wrapping him up in the dreaded pretzel hold! A sigh of disappointment went up from the crowd, and the trainer buried his face in his hands for he knew all was lost. He couldn't watch the ending.
Suddenly there was a scream, a cheer from the crowd, and the trainer raised his eye just in time to see the Russian flying up in the air. The Russian's back hit the mat with a thud, and the American weakly collapsed on top of him, getting the pin and winning the match.
The trainer was astounded! When he finally got the American wrestler alone, he asked, "How did you ever get out of that hold? No one has ever done it before!"
The wrestler answered, "Well, I was ready to give up when he got me in that hold, but at the last moment, I opened my eyes and saw this pair of balls right in front of my face. I thought I had nothing to lose, so with my last ounce of strength I stretched out my neck and bit those babies just as hard as I could. You'd be amazed how strong you get when you bite your own balls!"

I usually support my husband in EVERYTHING that he does but enough is enough. He just bought a 2007 Cadillic Escalade about a month ago. I knew that we were going to get a new SUV, but we were looking at 2007 demos...Well I had the opportunity to drive it for the first time and I was getting something out of the glove box and I decided t look at the financing paper work just to see. Well, the truck is a 2007 and it was almost $70,000. He keeps telling me that he got a good deal and we can afford it. I am not working and we have 5 children in private school. I am so worried that we cannot afford our new vehicle. I don't know why he didn't talk to me about this, but this explains why he bought it on his way home from work. What I am trying to say is I would rather have a larger house with a used CHEAPER Cadillic. I wish there was something that I could do about this. I am actually angry. This will be our FIRST fight because he lied to me. Any advice on which way I should go.....

Around here in all the small towns people just go around shooting cats and kittens, becase there are too many or they think they are pest. They will also do the same with dogs once in a while but not as often just as a way to get rid of them. The things is there is really nothing we can do because there are no humane soceitys or shelters the closest one is 30 miles away and they only have a 15 mile radius and the cops just ignore the complaints. We and my freinds have been saveing wild kittens out on a farm just because the lady is going to shoot them for no reason and it happens all the time. Got other ideas, and what do you think about these situations and what the people do?
