DirecTV is a dish.
We've had all options over the years; we even had three C-band systems, which were awesome.
Actually, your best value is cable, because DirecTV can't even produce a satisfactory picture if there's a light rain outside. That small dish just doesn't have sufficient receiving capacity.
Back in the day, a big C-band dish could still receive a great picture in a snowstorm with an inch of snow on the dish!!!!!
We had DirecTV for a while, and went back to cable, just because we'll be assured of a good picture during inclement weather.

f*ck value i love Directv....been a member for like 12+ year....tried all the others when i moved from home but they gave me 6 mos free for being my parents kid and i took it and have been impressed since.....they will have the largest HD network soon too....and with a phone line the PPV is stuff still in theaters and DVR is as good as on demand if you ask me.....but im a 12+ year biased loyal customer and i hate comcast for charging me over $500 for one month of service so yea.....good luck choosing hope you decide correctly...i didn't my first time picking
PS the storm loosing picture thing is a myth....the dish has improved in the past 12 years those dumb cable fans dont know what they are talking about

I'd say cable because when I had Dish they never sent the bill on time and then they'd charge me late fees for not paying it on time. I've never had thart problem with the cable company. But that depends on what cable company is in your area and what the taxes are like.

we've had Sirius in our truck considering the fact that January. we like it!! As for satellite tv for pc vs cable..... i'm leaning in the direction of satellite tv for pc recently. The cable organisation in my new section is expensive, constrained and sucks!! i'm attempting to establish satellite tv for pc, going with DISH. i will get DVR for like $5.00. we can set up like 4 TVs. a hundred and twenty channels and that i think of that is all approximately sixty 5.00 a month with a rebate for 10 a month for the subsequent 10 months. digital cable out right here runs on the brink of 70.

Cable
you don't have to worry about your cable going completely out like if a storm comes in a wipes out everything your satellite is out completely.Unlike cable satay on all the time and you have less outages.
