How do I program my computer to become self aware?

There are no self-aware computers in the true sense, yet.If you do figure it out, though, you'll become quite rich.

First of all you dont want a self aware computer. It would need to have a degree of freewill, survival instincts and like and wants. In short it would be like a small child. There would be a tremendous amount of baby sitting going on. And with all of these unforeseen variables would be much too unpredictable ti control or harness. It would be like giving a little kid all of the intellect in the world along with a hyperfast processor. Then asking him to do your bidding in some way. Clearly you'd loose control of him very quickly and you might even put yourself in danger if it believes that you are a nuisance or unnecessary. Kind of like the movies.
