The error is the phrase "It's impossible". Not a spelling, typing or grammatical error, but the inclusion of the phrase itself.

The clue is: "Did you know that 80% of UCSD students
could not find the error above?" That means that 20% found the error, contradicting the statement that it is impossible to do so.

Note: as an answer above has pointed out, you have left out the apostrophe in "it's". When posting this tired, old riddle you have to be careful about things like that, otherwise finding such an error is trivially easy. The solution is supposed to be found by logic, not proofreading.

The error is in the logic. The statements says find the error. But if there is no error in the numbers then the error is in the question itself. The error is: Find the "error" since the statement also lies "above" the "Did you know..." portion of this post.

Hey! ok so i think the answer for this riddle would be: there is no mistake so its impossible to find the answer. i think its similar to that one riddle where 90% of harvard students didnt know an answer but kindergarten kids did because they simply said NO!
so yea my answer would b.. theres no mistake so its impossible!

The error is already plainly obvious to me. *shrug*

I think the error is that you are gullible enough to believe reposting this would do anything.

ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!

It should be written as:
IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.

Note:
"It's" is abbreviation for "it is."
"its" is possesive adjective.
