I was just woundering do u think a guy in glasses would still get a cute gf. I dont really have alot of self confidence in myself because of school and other stuff. Last year in my school we took California Star test and I got far below basic in every subject. I feel like my life is going down the drain im not sure what im going to do with my life. Now days i just sit home next to computer all day or go skimboarding at the beach. I suck in education and I have low self confidence in myself. Sometimes I think why was I even born. I dont play any sports and I dont hang out with friends on weekends. I just found out that ill have to drive my moms mini van now ill probably will never find a good looking gf sounds pretty dumb what im saying im sure. I dont do drugs and im not planning to. Sometimes I just wish i wasent even born because life just gets so complicated. Oh by the way im 17 and im going to be junior this year. Her is the pic of me for u ladies out there.

If they want foot baths, then let the muslims pay for it out of their own pockets. Why should we make exceptions for muslims when other religions are not allowed in schools. I call this double standarded. I personely don't think it should be allowed in school. This is a place of learning, not a mosque. If they want to bath their feet to pray then they need to go to their mosque.

I thought the flux capacitor needed to be going 88 miles per hour AND be charged with 1.21 Jigawatts (SP) of electricity in order to work. If that is not the case, they could have just as well parked the delorean in front of the clock tower in the original and ran a cable down into the flux capacitor from the clock tower and waited until 10:04 PM and it would have worked then. My point is just that when DOC went back to 1885, he wasnt going 88 miles per hour, he was just floating in the air when the lightning struck.

For science fair, I'm considering doing a project with resistant bacteria. Basically, I would grow bacteria, then expose it to hand sanitizer, rubbing alchohol, or anti-bacterial soap. (Woo-hoo, IV) Whatever is left, I would reproduce and expose it again and again, to see how long it takes the bacteria to become resistant. (Woo-hoo, DV) There's just one problem. What would I do with the resistant bacteria when the experiment is done? How do I kill it off? Any biologists in here have any ideas?

Look, I know all the babble about deplyments and no leave and such. But, my wife is stationed for a year in Korea and some things have been going on that have been causing SERIOUS probalems with our marriage. I'm serious that if we don't get to see each other and talk face to face so we can work some things out, then our marriage will end before this deployment is done. I Love my wife more then anything in the world and i don't want to lose her, so what do I have to do to get them to have her come home so we can work these things out? Any advice will be very appreciated

I played a movie thru my laptop and hooked up the audio thru my receiver. This is an old receiver w/ 2 speakers. The sound is good when playing CDs, but the sound is lousy when playing the movie. It kind of cracks when I increase the volume. Do you know what I need to do to fix the audio problem? I really don't need perfect sound, but just want a lot cleaner audio.

This is a mini continuation of a previous job related question. At the end of this week I saw my schedule go from 20+ to under 6 next week. I spoke to someone at work and they said in a round about way that if we are not constantly after customers, greeting them at the door and following up if they need help and this is not done we will not receive the many hours we want and deserve. This individual did not say these things in exact terms but I can still infer the point they were trying to get across. My problem is that I have been a great employee always coming to work on time, when schedules have changed or hours have been altered I have never made a peep about it. Is what this person doing legal and also how can this idividual being a brand new employee be able to do this even though they are one of our upper managment people in our shop. I think they just wants to get rid of me just because they do not like me for no reason I can think of.

I asked this question before and only received one good answer. I did not elaborate on why. My job was outsourced to the Philippines (AOL). Responses varied from mowing lawns to prostitution (which is illegal), and joining the military. One idiot said they never heard the president say Americans won't do jobs that illegal immigrants would do (where have your been?). Unemployment benefits came and expired.

Mowing lawns will not pay my mortgage and feed my family. I am too old to join the military or I would (kinda tells you I'm too old for prostitution also). Someone said I was lazy, but I have a spreadsheet of 83 jobs I have applied for since Feb. I have had numerous interviews but with a B.A. and an M.A., employers say I am overqualified for even call center jobs or office assistant or administrator. The real reason is that they can hire HS grads for those jobs and some appear to be worried that if they hire me, I may be promoted to their jobs (hiring managers).

I am not lazy.
