When I read Eckersley's Wikipedia page, I was surprised that it stated that Tony LaRussa was given credit for this novel idea that began 19 years ago.

I could have sworn I witnessed some closers way before him that did this type of role. I thought the star closers of 30+ years ago like Rollie Fingers, Bruce Sutter, and Bill Campbell (to name just a few) would mostly pitch only to get the final three outs of the game.

Preferably someone who watched and followed Major League Baseball way before 1988 (and with a good memory of what the bullpens were like at the time) could answer this

My girlfriend and I just decided that we want to share that experience with each other. She explained to me that she is ready, and we know the consequences. I did not rush her or try and influence her opinions, I just let her decide what she wanted to choose in doing. We love each other very much. We've been going out for about a year. And I honestly never want to let her go. We both want to run away to California one day when we're older, and live out life in the sun. I'm ready. She's ready.

She's been fingered before, and regrets it because she did not love the guy.
And I've fingered a girl before, and I didn't love that girl either, it was a sort of bad situation.
So we've BOTH experienced sexual activity in someway before.

I am a 15 year old girl. I do not have an obvious under or over bite. I actually have a slight cross bite, but nothing obvious or really out of the ordinary.

If I do not get jaw surgery and only get braces, I will only have three of my four front lower teeth (Very long story short, I would have an overbite if they didn't pull a tooth.). One will be right in the middle. Noone will notice this, but I am afraid that I will be insecure about it forever afterwards.

If I get the surgery my bite will be perfect. My family has the money for it, but I am scared that getting this surgery would be compleatly vein of me. I am scared that I won't like the results (even though every singly before and after picture I have seen is great!). I am scared that I won't feel like myself afterwards.

The special person and I love each other for 4 years. We went to undergrad college. It was tons of chemistry, but I don’t want to have a relationship; therefore, I pretended to ignore him.

For 3 years we had never spoken, just enjoy looking at each other from distances. Before my graduation I told him that I am leaving. Although we did not really know each other, but I knew he cared!

I was very sad because I miss him so much. I thought I was going to forget him because we will never see each other again. But with God wills... I found his myspace. He wrotes poetries about us. He claims he does not know me, but he loves me. He does not know where I was and what to do, but he is going to wait for me!

I love him with all my heart, but I don't think the relationship will work. I came to the U.S. for my education. I will finish my master next year. I must go back home---my parent wait for me.

What should I do? I must should between the love of my life and my family.

He started working as a trainee in a oil company in Houston, Tx. and he supposed to be for 6 months in training and after 3 weeks they fired him. The persons who did that have a long history of stealing and corruption. One of them has been fired from many companies due to frauds. His son stole in the company $45.000 dollars. They didn't gave him a warning, they need to give him at least 3 in order to fired him. But the reality check is that they are my husband worst enemies (not open) but everyones knows it. They fired a secretary who complain of sexual harrassment. The other secretary saw him stealing the EZ Tags that you use to pay tollway and he takes it everyday to his vehicle and put it back to the companies vehicles. How it is possible that the people who are in higher positions don't know about all this? How you can contact those people in order to stop the corruption and the abuse of power there? How the law protect the employees? Texas don't have unions. Please help!

Why in the world are religions allowed to act on behalf of the government to perform marriage - it's a legal and binding contract recognized under the law - so what happened to separation of church and state on this matter?

And... how come a church can say, "Oh no, we won't let any gay people get married here.... We're against it." or "Sorry, no inter racial weddings are going to take place on our property... We don't allow it." and "Atheist couples... no way can you get married here."

I mean really.... think about how this kind of attitude would be received in a post office. "Oh no... you can't mail things here because you're gay and that mixed couple behind you in line can just turn around and take a hike, too? We don't carry mail for their kind. They might even be atheists. Good God!"

What's up with this kind of BS anyhow? Has everyone forgotten that discrimination of this type is called bigotry?

He has to arrive at the Recruiter's office at 6 am in the morning and I'm curious what will happen. He and I just got married last Wednesday in Reno Nevada and we just got back home. Unfortunately we still live in our respective homes but we had a wonderful few days of romance even though our parents were hanging around lol lol. They allowed us to take a room together and I never knew before what a wonderful experience it could be to take a bubble bath with someone you love so much.

Will he be allowed to use his cell phone in training to call me? He will be trained for the Infantry and I'm SOOO proud of my hero. My dad who is a Marine Corp Veteran and my grandpa who is a combat Vietnam Veteran says they will make a man out of him. My other grandpa and his parents don't think his enlistment is such a great idea (Oh Wellll!!). I'm happy for him and told him to call me if he runs into any problems and I'll discuss it with his Drill Instructor. I'd love to know whatwill happen

What number do you call when your job is shorting you on your paycheck and choosing to take to long correcting the problem. I cant call BBB because its considered a case that lead to lawsuit.
