I was just woundering do u think a guy in glasses would still get a cute gf. I dont really have alot of self confidence in myself because of school and other stuff. Last year in my school we took California Star test and I got far below basic in every subject. I feel like my life is going down the drain im not sure what im going to do with my life. Now days i just sit home next to computer all day or go skimboarding at the beach. I suck in education and I have low self confidence in myself. Sometimes I think why was I even born. I dont play any sports and I dont hang out with friends on weekends. I just found out that ill have to drive my moms mini van now ill probably will never find a good looking gf sounds pretty dumb what im saying im sure. I dont do drugs and im not planning to. Sometimes I just wish i wasent even born because life just gets so complicated. Oh by the way im 17 and im going to be junior this year. Her is the pic of me for u ladies out there.

Been there and done that.
Some people are late bloomers in life while others bloom early. In the beginning they have all the friends and the looks and what seems like a perfect life but in many cases, it doesn't last.
I have friends that I went to school with that had that kind of life and I was extremely envious. Me and my friends used to wish we had their confidence, brains and looks but we were total dorks. (we're 25 now)
HOWEVER, NOW.. things are a helluva lot different and it's the complete opposite. I don't even recognize my past classmates who have dropped out of college or never went and are now married and/or pregnant with 3 or more kids.
So enjoy your life and don't worry so much about what others think of you. Sure it may not seem like you have anything in life (been there and thought the same) but the majority of us think that way when we're teens. I thought like that and so did all of my friends. Now we're older and realize how stupid we were to want such things that were coming our way anyway.
I understand being shy and was extremely shy all through school until and finally came out of my shell my senior year in college. Over the course of that time, I made a few more friends and honed my academic skills by studying hard and not giving up.
So It doesn't matter how smart you are or what you look like. All that matters is that you're a good person who is willing to take a risk and just be yourself.
You will gain confidence as you head through life. Just as some people you know have all the confidence right now, in a few years, they may not have as much. I've seen that play out time and time again.
So my friends and I are prime examples of lonely nerds who blossomed later in our early twenties once we realized that the grass always appears greener on the other side. Granted, we still are weirdos who dress up like Spartans for the hell of it and who suck at chemistry and trigonometry BUT we accept that we're different and love ourselves because of it.
You're young and one day you will look back at this moment in your life and realize that you had more than you thought. You will gain confidence once you realize that you're just as interesting, if not, moreso, than all the other people you envy.

I think you look cute. I like your smile and you look pretty confident in your picture. I have like a lot of guys with glasses too. So all you need to see is that you are cute and any girl would be lucky to have you.

Glasses are adorable. And I know it's cheesy, but looks really aren't everything. My boy attracted me with his sense of humor. Be your own person, have your own style. Girls love that. And don't get down. You're young. Being seventeen was amazing for me. Have a great junior year.

hahahaha, couldnt help but post on this one, but jujst hit the gym, helps you build confidence, and sometimes, girls like guys with glasses, just wear clothes that look good with someone with glasses

i don't see why you don't have much self confidence in you. i mean ur not bad looking. why does it matter if u hav glasses. i don't think it does cuz i do too except i hardly where them.
