ok so i see this guy at the fair. i obvsilly think that he is REALLY cute. and my friend said that she kinda knows him. we do not talk to him. he is 2yrs younger then i. but just after seeing him only 1 time i can't get him off my mind. and every time i think of him my heart tottly melts. is this a sign from god that he is the one for me or am i being tottly paranoid? i have never fallen this much for a total stranger before tho!

Hello there, my girl friend owns a small shop and she was robbed quite recently and the man said he had a gun and would shoot her if she called the police. Is there anyway of getting a firearms licence in the UK just for protection and how do you get one? thanks a lot.

By the way, it turned out the guy did not have a gun, but still, it would be useful to have as protection.

I hear this argument a lot of y answers, but I don't think women are blamed for sin coming into existence, because if you read Genesis, Adam was right there with her and didn't say a word. He could have said, "Hey eve, let's not eat that" What he did was worse. He let what he wanted to come to pass happen and hoped that he could lay the blame on Eve for orchestrating it. He didn't lead, he didn't speak up, and he sure as heck ate the apple too. He probably would have done it by himself eventually. Her sin was pride (wanting to be greater and wiser than God), his was cowardice and inaction. God blamed them both.

The bridge collapse in Minnesota made me think of this...
I've heard before that if your car ends up going into deep water, that you will probably not be able to open the car doors because of the water pressure. I heard that to escape from your submerged car, you would need to roll down the windows.

That was fine back in the days when cars had cranks to roll the windows down, but now, all the windows have electronic push button controls. Those controls probably won't work if your car is underwater. Is there some way to get the windows down in that sort of emergency? Or should we just be carrying something heavy to smash our windows with in emergencies?

I had to toxic fish that died 2 mandarin gobies that is and now having died the toxicans have killed our other fish how do I get that toxican out of my tank so I can start over fresh with new fish. Its a 72 gallon tank and now I have nothing.

I am not saying it's rubbish or anything, but don't you think the book was a bit too fast, harsh and small? This was the last book and JKR could have easily made it about a 1000 pages. It was as if she was in a hurry to finish the book. Hedwig, Harry's faithful owl is blasted and dead in the first 30-40 pages. MadEye, the BEST Auror of the Ministry is killed like a gibbon, virtually without a fight, by Voldemort. And in Hogwarts, Snape dies within 2 lines after being bitten by a snake (now that's outrageous to kill a prince like that!!) I was expecting him to die fighting Voldemort or Harry (in case he WAS bad). Lupin and Tonks die unnoticed, and JKR very cruelly rips apart the Weasley twins by cutting off George's ear and then killing Fred. And to add to all these, Voldemort dies without a fight, surrounded by his enemies like vultures surround a dead body. First of all I am not a young teacher but though I am 26, I look younger than my real age is. Anyways at school, I teach stages at ages (11-13) and they seem to be checking me so well especially boys! Knowing that I never put on but garments and dresses so much suiting my being respectable in the classroom. I am trying to be firm and strict at same time an older sister to them. It happened that I accidently heard one of the boys telling another student "She's pretty hot teacher." How could I maintain the discipline having their minds concentrating on the lesson itself rather than being drifted away?

OMG!! I really don't know what else to do. My son will be in full day Kindergarten in a week and a half and I fear I'm going to be getting calls all the time because of his stubbornness with foods!!
He's very picky (unlike my 7 year old son who will try anything) and if he sees or smells something he doesn't like he will actually make himself get sick! At lunch he'll have to sit next to kids with foods he doesn't like and I don't know what to do.
If he sees sour cream, cottage cheese, etc. he's throwing up! I've talked with him about this several times. I've put him in time out because he's making himself do this. He’s too young to make him clean up the mess besides he'd just throw up again anyway... what do I do??
