Hi.
I am a 16-year old who is about to move to CA.
I was wondering if it is possible for me as an non-immigrant with a student visa to apply for a drivers license.

And is it really worth getting it considering the 12 month period in wich one has to drive with someone who has a license, not being able to drive 24/7 and not driving with anyone who does not have a license?

Wouldn't that make more sense then one on talk radio?..if you don't like what you hear on radio you can simply change the channel...but we pay tuition and have no choice when our kids are being indoctrinated.

Guess what, freshman conservative college student? In a couple of weeks you’re going to have your liberal campus and its professors shove more crap down your throat than Rosie does her gullet during Chili’s Monday Night Nacho Monster Blowout Special, that’s what.

Are you ready?
Now, I’m not trying to make you fearful, sweetie. I just want you to brace for the liberal Kool-Aid crunch that is coming soon to a classroom near you. The stuff mommy warned you about is true. The reality is you are entering the Liberal’s madrasah. Your values, for the next four years, will be violated much like Linsday Lohan’s nose, liver, Mercedes and panties have been for the last five years.

I am getting married in June and my mum and dad are paying for the reception. We think there is around 25 tables and we want centrepieces on them. I don't want my parents paying a fortune for something that is only going to be there the duration of the party, they say it doesn't matter about the cost but it does to me. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can find cheap table posies or some lovely centrepieces that are fairly cheap. I actually saw some nice table posies in a shop this morning, only around 7 pounds each although that suddenly went up to 10 when I told her it was for my wedding!!! When I look on the internet the cheapest ones I can find are starting for about 20 pounds for a really small one, that's ridiculous!!! Anyway, I'd really appreciate your help. Many thanks.

Summary Answer:
Unbelievers are described by Muhammad as "the vilest of animals" and "losers." Christians and Jews are hated by Allah to the extent that they are destined for eternal doom as a result of their beliefs. It would make no sense for Muhammad to then recommend them to be taken in as friends by Muslims. In fact, the Qur'an plainly commands believers not to take unbelievers as friends.

The Qur'an:

Sura (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Sura (5:80) - "You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide." Those Muslims who befriend unbelievers will abide in hell.

I am making slow cooker chili today and I have a question about browning the meat before hand... I want to try something new.

How do you brown your meat?

Some people brown it on high heat, some on medium. Some also use bacon grease to brown it in, some use none at all...

Also, would you put the onions and peppers in before the meat or after the meat has been browning for a little while?

And one more question, for jalepeno's, should I brown those separately, throw them in with the meat and onions, or just cut them up and put them right in the slow cooker?

Thanks for any answers... I'm just trying to make my best chili even better!
:)

Ok, We've all seen a movie where the cast just don't fit the character, and we ask...WHY them?
Here's a list of what I think are the worst Casting Decisions.
>Ashton Kutcher as Evan 'Butterfly Effect'
> Cameron Diaz as Pick Pocket 'Gangs of New York'
>Tara Ried as a scientist 'Alone in the Dark'
>Jake Gyllenhaal as a 17 year old 'The Day After Tommorow'
>John Travolta as a woman in 'Hairspray'
>Beyonce Knowles 'DreamGirls'
>Julia Roberts 'Erin Brokavich' (who was actually in real life over weight, and tired and just not julia roberts!!!)
>Justin Timberlak In ANYTHING!!!

I hope those of you who do realize that you're just revealing beforehand that you're too cheap to order a double and probably won't tip much even if it is a heavy pour. Hint: order a double, tip well, and you will see returns on subsequent rounds.
