You can view the processes and CPU usage on your computer by using Windows Task Manager. Open up task Manager by pressing Crtl-Alt-Delete at the same time. You can determine what program are running and terminated them from this utility. The page below will show you how to use it to your advantage.
Hope this helps!

Hold: Ctrl and Alt, then press Delete. This is windows task manager!

What it does is show you all the processes, tasks, applications etc that that your PC is doing at that time. you can use Task Manager to end certain tasks of find out which ones are the most demanding on your PC. You can also see a graph which displays how much processor power (CPU)your pc is using at any given time. So if the PC is slow hit control aly delete select the processes tab, Hit Mem usage untill it shows you the results in order from the highest first and if you see somthing running that you dont want and its using up way to much ram then you can stop it.

Hope this explains it All the best
