I believe the end of the world will be more of a spiritual happening than an environmental one. If you read the Book of Revelation, it explains the End Times. Surely the environment collapsing is something that will inevitably happen, but I feel that it all revolves around Jesus. Therefor, with everything that happens near the end, Jesus will follow..because it's all happening because of him just as Revelation has pointed out. I'm not sure if that's making any sense.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Jesus will make this all happen. It's SUPPOSED to happen towards the end, sort of like a process. A big terrifying process...I don't even want to think about it.

If by world ending you mean mankind not surviving then I think it is near in terms of the next 200 years (unless we really step up and try and stop using all the resources and stop polluting) Dont listen to Blu and his 2012 rubbish. That is disagreed by the actual Mayan decendants elders now days. It's people trying to make money out of their books and panicing people. The mayan long ount doesnt actually end for a very long time yet. Look it up on wikipedia and not a pro 2012 site. As for something to worry about in your lifetime? Oil peaking is something you should worry about. Yes it will happen in yor lifetime. It will change the way we all live.

Earth itself can survive much more than the creatures who live on it. I say you are quite wrong here. Let me ask you why you want to believe such nonsense. Earth ends when the Sun expands into a red giant star in 5 billion or more years.

No, the earth will go on even if it is trashed. Can we continue to exist on it? Probably. WIll we like it as much as the world we've known for so long? Not a chance.

Nobody can tell when is the end. Only God knows. So if you fear God or believe in God you better prepare because nobody knows when. You will not loose anything if you do.
