This is especially noticeable when there are many others present. Let's say the professor makes a funny, and I tend to laugh RIGHT after the joke and others laugh about half a second later.

O.K my boyfriend and I have been together almost 8 years. We have 2 children together. I am 31 and he is 36. I love him dearly but I am at the point where he needs to decide if he is in this for the long haul. If not... let me know. Do you think 8 years and 2 children later is enough time to decide if I am worth marrying? Is it selfish of me to make him decide? I feel stupid coming on here and venting but, I hate to bring our family/friends into our relationship. It will be nice to get outside opinions. The thing is... we are not even engaged so, when I introduce him... I have to say my boyfriend!

In a paper that is more about myself, so I don't have to use sources... I wanted to quote my aunt who once said something to me. Do I need to do a reference page since it came from a casual conversation or not? Also do I need to use APA format for her after the quote, I'm mentioning right after the quote that those were the words of my aunt.

According to my unserstanding in English grammer if we use a particular tense then the whole sentence should be in that tense (I am talking in general, I know there are much more exception of the above said rule). So we generally use "Did you see that?" look in that sentence there are two verbs DO and See...first case we use past(DID is past form of DO) then we use present(See). We do not generally use "Did you saw that?" Is it wrong if I use "DID you saw that?" sentence while describing a sentence which happened in the past tense.

u know when vick first entered the leage i thought that it might happin and i know of the diffuculty in running the option in a leage as fast as the nfl but do u think that at some point in time there will b a nfl team with an option style offense (probly not)

These are three of my favorite posters here on R&S. I love reading their questions and answers here in R&S. If I ever were to vote on the creation of an R&S "think tank", I would put these three guys at the top of the list for their intellect, logic, and humor.

They are three of the brightest R&Sers, appear to have totally different agendas, and I have yet to see them answer one of the other's Q's.

Are these three guys triplets that were separated at birth, or what?

Or are they clones of some mad genetic experiment?

Or maybe they're all just the same person. The three personas of a stark mad schizophrenic.

How do you deal with blood? And sticking people with needles? I mean, I'm ok with a needle as long as it's not coming towards me. I'm not the touchy kind of person and don't feel comfortable around doctors. Does anybody else feel that way?

There is a girl who I definately like as a friend or girlfriend, I am sure that she thinks that I'm atleast OK, that's all been established... Since school is over now, the only place I see her is at my work, which is a luxury grocery store, she comes in on occasion, she usually buys health items (bottled water, special k, icy hot) she's an athletic person, and so am I, and this is all on the off chance that I happen to be there when she is there!.... All of my friends who are girls don't really know her, or they did once but they don't really anymore How can I see her more often so I could even have the chance to ask her to hang out or go do something?!! OR How can I make those few moments in which I do see her more meaningful and productive if you will to asking her to go do something..?!!
I don't want to stalk her to her house or anything, but how can I make it so we could possibly come in contact somehow?!

Does that mean anything?
If he enters the room...he's saying my name.
If he walks up to the group...he's saying my name.
If he leave the room, I get the goodbyes.
He can't walk past me without saying my name or a name he makes up off my name.
And if we are going to be apart for a long time...like a vacation or long holiday...I get a hug maybe two hugs.

Is that guy friend behavior or is he telling me something?!?!

Isn't it possible that Aaron and Ruth took performance enhancing drugs.. and don't give me that crap about "they didn't even have steroids back then." thats Bullshitt. I have been making legal backup copies of all my DVD's that I already own, and always use the same type of discs, with the same software, and the same of everything, even the place I buy my movies is the same place, nothing changes. All of a sudden, after a couple years of doing this, nothing seems to work anymore, I can't backup and of my discs, it runs the whole cycle and says it was succesfully copied, like it always does, but it shows a disc error in the dvd player. I have tried to update all my drivers and made sure all the software I use is also up to date. What could be going on? Am I missing something here? If anyone has had this happen, what did you do to solve the problem. Thank You.

There are no credible statistics to proove that death penalty deters crime.

The brutalizing effect, says that when the government serves as a model for appropriate behavior, justifying death penalty as a solution to a problem teaches its citizens that killing someone is a solution to a problem.

Fact shows that predatory murderers have lesser brainwave activity than people who kill out of passion. People who kill in crimes of passion aren't fully aware of the severity of their actions. If you have lesser brainwave activity, you couldn't comprehend the severity of your crimes either.

Still believe in the death penalty?

I just got a new laptop with Windows Vista on it. I tried downloading itunes from the itunes website, the one for windows vista. It downloads, installs and says it is complete. The problem is it is no where on my computer. It does not even make a shortcut icon on my desktop. Why wont it work? How do I fix it? HELP!!!

Theres this girl who lives across the street from me and she has a jack russel terrier and and when i would go walk her dog with her she would abuse him by hitting him across the muzzle to get him to stop barking and she would hit him on the neck if he didn't drop something hes not supposed to eat. i dont walk with her anymore cuz i have 2 dogs of my own now. but wut do i do about her?
