I wonder why you asked this question.

I'm 72 with Sicilian Americans for son-in-laws, grandsons, granddaughters. great grand-kids too.

Never heard of it, from where I live.

I'm English, Scott's Irish and Cherokee.

I also had two aunts that married Greek immigrants in the very early 1900's.. I have many half Greek cousins. I love them all.

I'm from an area in US that is very diverse.

Most who settled here were immigrants from all over Europe.

They came here to work in the mines and on the railroad.

There was some prejudice in the late 1800's and eary 1900's for those who were not from England.

By the time I started school all prejudice was gone.

True there were uppity ups who then, as it is now thought they were better.

That will always exist.

I consider that type to be somewhat of an enemy.

I just kill my enemy's with kindness.

They are bewildered by it and don't know how to handle it.

I consider myself to be no more or no less than anyone else.

You just be who your are.

Do and be the best you can be, to the best of you ability.

Most of all be true to yourself.

What the heck do you care what they think.

I think 19 year old Sicilian Americans are sexy with their dark hair.

Thanks for the question.

Well if you are experiencing prejudice then more than likely you are doing something to bring it on... most "Sicilian Americans" that I know experience no prejudice whatsoever... but then again, they don't seek to separate themselves from everyone else by calling themselves "Sicilian Americans", and bring attention to themselves... my guess is that you run around telling everyone you can that you are related to the mob somehow... you reap what you sow... if you act in a way that would draw attention and cause people to look at you differently then you really can't complain about what happens

There isn't. Ask the next American Indian or Black person you see that very same question. You'll get a "real life" answer.
