This is especially noticeable when there are many others present. Let's say the professor makes a funny, and I tend to laugh RIGHT after the joke and others laugh about half a second later.

I am not a funny person, btw.

me, too. I see where the joke is going, or something. I usually don't laugh till the joke is told, but i am usually ahead of most other people. i think your brain figures out what or why it is funny before other people do.

Even if you don't consider yourself to be a funny person, maybe your quicker to grasp or anticipate the outcome faster than most.

For me: "Growth" is very important, maybe most important.
