I have a camping trip planned for this weekend & was planning to bring my dog, but she came into heat a couple days ago. Is it still okay to bring her? Or will it attract wild animals?

I don't think I would bring a dog in heat on a camping trip, that's asking for trouble.

A dog in heat should probably not go anywhere she could possibly come into contact with an UN-neutered male. They can smell the female hormones from almost a mile away. Any one camping, hiking or living nearby with an intact male now has a problem on their hands as well. Males will go to great lengths to get at a female in heat.
Also, leaving her at home alone is a bad idea also. Leaving her in a yard heck even a garage is a bad idea (one of my rescues resulted from a man leaving his unfixed female, in heat in the garage. The neighbor 2 doors down has a GSD who jumped 2 fences and broke through the side door to get at her. She has 2 other siblings)
Your best bet would be to leave her with someone you trust, and get her fixed post haste after she goes out of season. Then you can both go camping whenever you want. (Aside from the MANY medical reasons to have her fixed- IE cancer UN wanted pups etc)

It's not likely to attract wild animals; but if one of your fellow campers has an un-neutered male, you're likely to end up with puppies.

Im pretty sure it would attract ANY canine species nearby.....that scent is STRONG....I wouldn't do it, if I were you. ONe thing for sure though....if you leave it behind, make sure you install anti-chinese shields.....they will cut and cook that *****
