friends with benifits is a tricky business..
its fun for a while but it gets really confusing really fast.

some people may enjoy it but i have found that its a way for someone to show affection in a non-threatening non-committing way.

i admit..it sounds appealing..and it really is great while it lasts..but its not the way to go about living your love life..

it turns into a strange sort of attatchment and it just gets messy and ruins whatever previously existing relationship that you may have had with that person. Plus, it inhibits your ability to create a real lasting relationship with someone else that you really care about.

bottom line: its really not worth it..most guys would glorify the idea..but i have to say "just say no"

Well, the idea of 'friends with benefits is supposed to be about you, a female and a male, who is a good friend , and both of you have a sexual attraction toward one another. Some people have the abiltity to be friends and can have sex whenever the two desire. The female can have a boyfriend and the male can have a girlfriend. Whether 'they" know about the 'buddy-system' is up to the couple.

I have not known this situation to work out too well. For one thing, women are way too emotional. But I guess there are some women who can have sex with their male friends and move on as if there is nothing wrong. I couldn't. My heart is always tied up in a relationship when sex is involved.

To me friends with benefits mean that you and your "friend" make-out, do sexual things without relationship obligations.
So there's basically no commitment, and you can still date around and whatnot.

I don't like it...but that's because I was in a situation similar to "Friends with benefits." I mean at first i was really confused on what to call it...so I just settled with that.
Anyways, back to what I think of it, my reasons for not liking it is because when I was in that situation I was really confused on, what to call the relationship, what his feelings were for me[Like if he really liked ME, or if he just liked my body and the way i kissed], because I had feelings for him[and in a friends with benefits I don't really think it's wise to have feelings for the other because it just gets to emotional and stuff you know?], and just a billion other things.
I just didn't know how to act, mostly, I think. I mean he was my first boyfriend and then he broke up with me and we got in the "friends with benefits" situation...hahaha very long story, not going to tell it.

well have a good one!

I dont like being friends with benefits coz it means your friend can take advantage of u. that friend will just use u for sex. that is not really a good friendship at all.

friends w/ benefits is where two people are having sex without being bf and gf. thats a good way to alienate friends of the oppisite sex. i dont like it because they are using each other for sex. i never had done it and never will.

ITs basicly just 2 people (friends) that do stuff with each other (sexual stuff) but without any sort of commitment.
