One of my professor, who teachers Church History and American Religious Tradition, jokingly said that EVANGELICALISM is a code word for WHITE, MIDDLE/UPPER CLASS & CONSERVATIVE. (Of course he was speaking in normative terms, this does not categorize every single person)

How would you as an evangelical respond to this?

We had a sex on the second date and i really regret it. After a few days i couldn't help to ask him how he feels about me. then he is like our relationship is still mystery and relationship should be grown up slowly. so we kinda had a fight. so is it ok to avoid sex anymore until i hear he wants me as his gf?

A good friend of mine has a 3 year old that ALWAYS wears shoes and socks even around the house. I have been over there late at night and he will still be wearing them. The other day I was over at her house. She put him down for his nap shoes and all! I of couse did not ask why because its not my place to question her parenting, but it just seemed odd. I was thinking he maybe likes keeping them on or she does not want to bother having to put them back on. Ever seen this before? I find myself putting shoes on my daughter when I go over there just so I do not look like a poor parent lol.

Funny: teen pregnancy and a parents heartbreak...or not?
An 18 year old Italian girl tells her Mom that she has missed
her period for 2 months.

Very worried, the mother goes to the drugstore and buys a
pregnancy kit.

The test result shows that the girl is pregnant.

Shouting, cursing, crying, the mother says,
"who was the pig that did this to you? I want to know!"

The girl picks up the phone and makes a call.

Half an hour later, a Ferrari stops in front of their house.

A mature and distinguished man with gray hair and
impeccably dressed in an Armani suit steps out of the of
the Ferrari and enters the house.

He sits in the living room with the father, mother, and
the girl and tells them: "Good morning, your daughter has informed
me of the problem.

I can't marry her because of my personal family situation
but I'll take charge.

I will pay all costs and provide for your daughter for the rest of her life.

Additionally, if a girl is born, I will bequeath a Ferrari, a beach house,
2 retail stores, a townhouse, a beachfront villa, and a$2,000,000 bank account.

If a boy is born, my legacy will be a couple of factories and a $4,000,000 bank account.

If twins, they will receive a Factory and $2,000,000 each.

However, if there is a miscarriage, what do you suggest I do?"

At this point, the father, who had remained silent, places a hand
firmly on the man's shoulder and tells him,

In Australia, it is natural for our media to blow up and focus entirely on the Australian role in world history, and in current events. I want your alternate opinion on matters.

If Australia was to withdraw it's support from the USA in all it's current war zones, remove the Free Trade Agreement between said nations, and cancel it's mutual defense treaties -do you think the USA would be impacted significantly. if so, how much?

Just wondering. People always tell me how pretty I am, yet guys always seem distant. I'm not intersted in any one per se, But I am not one of those girls that flirt with guys, unless it's a friend and I trust he knows we are just friends and goffing aroud. It seems like I give the cold shoulder to guys-I guess it's because right off of the bat I know if I like him, and even when I do, I don't say anything-I expect him to be man and tell me-if he likes me, so I won't humiliate myself. So, are you the same type of girl?..You are pretty and any guy would be lucky to have you, yet no guy can't because you seem kind of distant and too cold for them-because you come off that way, and they are just afraid to make the move and have you reject them?....What is your story?...
