He is currantly in there lives he moved to our state saying it would be differant this time and all that bull, it wasn't he wont get a job lives girl to girl and says he will show up at boy scouts and other places for the kids and then doesn't and doesnt call them or anything for days at a time and has done this to them over and over I just hink it is time for him to deal with the fact that he isnt what they need and move on and stop hurting them over and over again.

Is he in the kids life? If so, don't but him out. He may be giving you the short end of the stick and the kid(s) take collateral damage from lack of financial support. But if he wants in on the kids lives, they need that.
If he's almost never around, well detectives and/or lawyers can be great for serving papers.
